Plastic microwave cookers use microwaves to penetrate food and interact with water in the food to cook it. that's why the food is soggy. MACONEE crisper pan absorbs microwaves and heats up the pan, crisping foods with the heat of the metal pan.

Is preheating the microwave crisper pan for two minutes necessary?

We recommend preheating 2 mins to achieve better cooking results. Especially cooking meat we highly suggested cooking till inter temperature reaches 170 Fahrenheit. If not to preheat, you can still use the pan, but cooking time needs to be extended.

Is it safe to use in a 1200W or larger Wattage microwave?

Yes, it can be used in microwaves ranging from 700 to 1200W or even larger wattage. The time it takes to cook will vary depending on the power of the different microwaves

Can I use it in the combo microwave without rotating plate?

Yes, MACONEE Microwave Cookwares are specifically designed for use in microwaves and are also compatible with combo microwaves. If used in an appliance without a microwave function, the heating effect will not be as good as when used in a microwave.
