Striking Illustrations-Great Vocabulary-Delightful Rhyming Text
There’s so much to love about Ruth Heller’s striking illustrations, choice of vocabulary, and rhyming text. My DD (5yo) loves nonfiction and I love rhyming picture books. This book is a favorite for both of us. Gave this as a gift to a 1st grade classroom studying camouflage.

great gift when paired with butterfly binoculars or bug catchers
This book is perfect for non readers as a fun seek and find, and early readers because the sentences are short yet interesting. It is informative and fun for adults, too.

Camouflaged
I agree that this is one of the better ones in the series. Finding the animals camouflaged was at times a challenge and thus a greater feeling of success when found. I loved how this book walked you through the first butterfly and how it becomes camouflaged. So happy I was able to buy it in a hardback.
