The 12lbs-80lbs models max weight capacity is the weight purchased. The 100lbs-140lbs max weight would be 140lbs. Empty pockets can be filled by purchasing weights later on to fill the weight vest if needed. The RUNFast or RUNMax Weighted Vest is a great way to add resistance to your workout. This is a great vest to start your cross training, strength training, and anything else you will need a weight vest for. The vest is one size fits most. The weights comes included. It also comes with a one manufactures warranty that covers the vest.Due to the weight of the item, this item can only be shipped to US domestic addresses to prevent damaged to the item during transit.

Fell apart fast
Vest has come apart at the bottomSeems and I've lost 1 sand bag and more are gonna follow cuz it's totally falling apart at the bottom .. before that I had no issue but seeing as I've only had it for like 2 months this shouldn't be happening .. I would like a refund or a new one

Absolutely competely satisfied. Great design & well thought out. Would buy again. But...include the darn shoulder pads...silly!
I will preface this by saying that you should NEVER run in any weight vest. Walking stairs, walking, elliptical...all fine but you run in a weight vest and some time in your life you will be seeing an orthopedic surgeon...ok...enough lecture...Weight vests are a great thing. They are versatile and safe. If you want to do lunges but are concerned about safety when using dumb bells, a vest is the answer. Want to get a chest blasting workout with only a few different exercises and sets of push-ups? Weight vest is awesome. Even want to burn some extra calories on an elliptical...great idea. But...most vests are unbalanced, uncomfortable, and cumbersome. They don't have enough variations in sizing. They hang too much in the front. They cut into your throat when doing push-ups or they poke your back when you are doing squats. But, this vest gets it right. The RUNmax is one of those few fitness products that covers pretty much all the bases. It has great weight balance options. I have the 100lb version and it has 5 pockets on front and back spaced really well allowing easy and accurate distribution of weight. The vest is very versatile in it's fit. It has a nice two band wrap around system that can be changed to fit different body shapes. The straps that go around the torso are very wide but taper to grab tightly. The Velcro on the straps is high quality. The vest is comfortable in a cross-fit environment, on an elliptical, or even walking around a track. But...AND TAKE NOTE...that is with the shoulder pads installed. That is my one real problem with it. The vest should come with removable shoulder pads. I can't imagine using the vest for more than 10 minutes without the pads. So, why make them an option and charge more for them. I would prefer that the company simply sell the vest with them because I cannot even imagine a person buying this vest and not eventually wanting the pads. So, I guess I am saying buy the vest and include the pads...even though they should be included. They should be included. But even with that the vest is great. It holds tight, feels firm, and is really a great addition to a workout. I would buy it again (with the shoulder pads) without hesitation.

Great weighted vest!
To preface - I purchased the 80# vest with shoulder pads.I did a TON of research on weighted vests before deciding on this one. I looked in store at Walmart and Academy and read reviews not only on Amazon but many other places as well. In my conclusion, this vest was top value based on weight, price and quality (as provided by reviews). I received this vest 2 days after I ordered it, which was a great surprise given that it was only free shipping for Prime members, not specified as 2-day shipping. It came in 2 boxes - one box with vest and 4 weights and another box with the remaining 6 weights. Each weight is approximately 10 inches long and weighs 8 pounds. It's a little bit difficult to fit the weights into the pockets but that's to be expected - you don't want your weights bouncing around in large pockets. My first outing with it was really enjoyable. My wife went for a quick 3-mile run and I followed behind, walking a brisk pace with 32# (2 weights in front pockets, 2 weights in back). I jogged about 1/4 mile with her and decided that running with 32# wasn't as fun as I thought it would be so I slowed to a brisk walk and went a little more than 2 miles. Just so you know, the vest will bounce around a little bit while jogging and it's not super comfortable. With lighter weight, it probably wouldn't be a problem but I am not really a runner so that doesn't affect me much. I purchased this vest mainly for rucking and for that, it is pretty great. My shoulders hurt pretty good after just 2 miles but that's probably because my body isn't used to hauling around that much extra weight. All in all, this is a great vest so far. The Velcro pocket is the perfect place to keep my phone so I can listen to music through the speaker and not have to block out all other sounds, for safety purposes (we were on county roads). The straps kept the weights secure against my trunk and I didn't feel constricted at all.Great vest - so far. I have seen a few reviews about the vest coming apart but mine seems pretty well constructed. Will update if something changes.

Excellent addition for daily activities, runs (when removing weight) and walks.
Losing weight is never an easy endeavor. As people lose weight it becomes harder to shed the extra pounds since their bodies are becoming more efficient. It's one of the reasons why people hit plateaus after losing 15-30 pounds. Less weight = less calories burned. That's the situation I am in. After losing 15-20 pounds over the last few months my body is fighting me on losing weight. So I decided to add a weight vest to home workouts, runs and walks with the dog.I am a pretty good sized male at 5'9'' and 220 pounds. I figured adding 40-60 pounds was a good weight to add to my frame to wear while doing chores and walking the dog. It has been shown that weight vests can help burn 12% more calories which can help you bust through your next level of fitness.I grabbed the RUNmax 60 pound vest and it's freaking heavy duty. It is well made as I never worry about it coming apart at the seams and crushing my feet. It's made from ballistic nylon which is ultra-strong and is good for air drying after sweating in it. It makes every chore harder and helps build my lower back and abs. It also makes me much more aware of my posture and helps me improve my lifting habits.I wear mine for about an hour everyday in 30 minute intervals and I can certainly feel it throughout my body. The weights can be removed to lighten the load which is a nice option to have if I want to change up my workouts. For days that I want to jog in it, I will remove 40 pounds and run with 20. It's not as easy as you would think and wearing 60 pounds gives me a whole new level of respect for those in the military who lug around all of that gear all freaking day.

Nice vest, but the shoulder pads are a little iffy
It’s a nice vest and it’s exactly what I was looking for. The only reason why I gave it a 4 star instead of a 5 star was because the shoulder pads are just there and they don’t stick to the vest, you just slide them in underneath the vest and the weight of the vest holds them in. Other than that it’s a great item

Effective, not super comfy, easy to use, a bit long for shorter folk
I bought this to enhance my vr sessions. Yeah, I'm a nerd who likes to workout, and combining my Oculus Quest gaming sessions with weight resistance makes for a sweaty good time. The good:- easy to add/remove weight. The vest is very easy to put on, there aren't a million straps like other models.- is relatively comfortable, as comfortable as a weight best could be.The bad:- not a lot of options for changing the overall fit. It's a one size fits all deal- the should are is very uncomfortable, the added padding is a waste of money, don't spend the extra cash on it.The subjective:- I'm 5'6", and it goes down to past my navel. Crouching and squatting isn't as comfortable as I'd like.- I can't adjust the shoulder length, I wish I could make it a bit tighter around my shoulders- it's bulky, and because the Oculus Quest uses built in cameras, sometimes it loses tracking of the controllers due to them being hidden by the vest (especially noticeable when my hands are lowered to my side)Overall happy, it does what I need it to, which is to kick my ass and help add resistance challenge to my exercise. I'm glad I bought it.

Must have
If you’re someone who works out a lot and wants to add weight to your training this is the vest*Pro- well balanced( I’ve some vests where they were just not weighted properly and I could feel the difference while wearing the vest. This is not the case with this one)- comfy sometimes I would go shirtless with just the vest no rash, no irritation.*con- so many straps little confused where they all go-with out a car it’s not the easiest thing to transport

Great addition to my routine
The vest fits perfectly, no moving or sliding around, and is adjustable for different sizes. I'm 200 lbs and I let a buddy (who weighs 155 lbs) use it, and he loved it and thought it fit great as well. He wants to buy one now. The 40 lbs vest is plenty of weight, I had to remove a few bars so it could be more functional. I highly recommend this vest if someone is considering buying one of these.

No Surprises
It's not that I didn't 'like' it, but just didn't need it anymore.I am a small female(5'3" - 75 lbs.) and it fit even me. The straps are adjustable (velcro) at waist. If you are using for running, I'd get one with the shoulder pads (I didn't order one with pads). It's bulky though, but I guess that is to be expected! It's great that you can adjust the weight (each pouch is 2.5 pounds)

Almost perfect
I am 5'6"(167cm) weighing at 154lbs(70kg). It fits me perfectly thanks to velcro strap and it still has room for bigger body frame. I ordered the 60lbs with shoulder strap which came with 10 sand columns weighing at 6lbs each supposing 60lbs ÷ 10 sandbag slots(to be confirmed) otherwise it would be false advertising. 5 slots in the front and 5 slots in the back for the sand bags. To be honest the straps are not worth the additional cost to the order as you can buy something more useful. The front and rear are sewed together and only time will tell how long itll hold. It has a little pocket/flap for your cellular device with a designated wired earphone slot but you would have to flip open the velcroed flap and onto another velcro opening to directly access your device. It also has a water bottle holder. I would have given this 5 stars if the velcro strap was properly alligned but great product anyways and that it came with weights

Not as advertised, not the same picture
Product was not as advertised. Shows an available spot for headphone jack which is not there. Also the “added” shoulder straps that were said to be added for comfort don’t even attach to the vest.

Fits great!
Fit is pretty much universal, says without shoulder pads but included some anyways.Only con is the material seems to attract dirt if you leave it on the floor or anything dusty, but its not too hard to clean off.

Excelente chaleco

I always thought I carried the weight of the world on my shoulders... Whats another 40 lbs?
Great product. I have been wearing it for walking, running, exercising, showering, eating and sleeping. I wear it to work, weddings, and just about any social gathering you could imagine. In fact, this product is so comfortable, I haven't taken it off.

It's a weighted vest..
I ordered the vest with the shoulder guards, which were both unattached and had or provided no real cushion for your shoulders, they're the same material as the other parts of the vest, which made it uncomfortable. Aside from that, the vest works like a weighted vest should.
