I used to buy these regularly to wear for work and dog walking as they were decent quality for the price but now the fabric used is thin and coarse the quality of stitching is poor, buttons already coming off when new, poor colour and sizing is all over the place sometimes way too big other times way too small have had to send back several pairs, same goes for the very similar trouser Surplus Raw which are the same except in name but again quality and sizing has become exceptionally poor in recent years, shan't be buying any more.

I'm quite skinny, with longish legs. These were the only trousers of this type where the customers' reviews stated that theirs were quite baggy (which I like) and with long legs (thank you, reviewers!). I bought size S (30-32 ins waist), and they fit pretty perfectly, the leg length just right. I think they'd be a little tight, though, for someone with a 32-inch waist, so probably better to go for the larger side if your waist is at the top end of the range for the size. The trousers were a little more expensive than some similar ones on offer, but they seem to be very well made, so worth it. I'm very pleased with mine.

Very disappointed with it. The style, material and sewing are top class. The legs were nice and wide but were too long. Where the hips and waist were ok the crotch area was way too tight. When I sat down for any length of time my nuts started hurting. There is simply not enough depth between the waistline and the crotch area and one felt funny even walking in it. Might be ok for a woman as low riders but not for a man. I asked the supplier who had many different brands if they had any better fit and they said they were all the same. Dont know why any manufacturer would not do better quality control! Less length and more depth surely. It certainly was not beige either. It more like coyote or dark fawn !!!Gave this one to my niece and don't know where to go now.

I bought 2 pairs of these and would have given them 5 stars, I love the style and fit. One pair, unfortunately must have had a flaw?, whilst just walking I heard a tearing sound and had a 10 inch rip on the inner right leg, not down the seam, they kind of just fell to bits, I went home.This may have just been one dodgy pair with a flaw in the material, I hope so as I am off out today in the other pair!

Nice and roomy around the tops of the legs, (where many trousers are too tight) the legs are too long though - there needs to be a better selection of waist / length options. They're OK, but I wouldn't buy them again unless the size issues were addressed.

I wear these for casual every day use . very comfortable excellent quality. Delivery was quick and easy. I like the style comfort ,price . And variety of colours . Five stars from

I am 5"10, the legs on these are ridiculously long! you can tighten the bottom of them with a low quality strap on them but as soon as this breaks, I will be stepping on the trousers. Bad product
