(3 Pockets)Camera Battery and Memory Card Pouch

An excellent solution for battery management. I’ve transitioned from carrying loose spares in my pockets to using this harness-mounted pouch. It eliminates the risk of losing equipment and keeps fresh batteries within reach at all times. This simple upgrade has made my shooting process far more organized and efficient.

This is what I've needed... quick easy access to batteries that holds them securely. A seriously good item. Holds batteries for my G9, may be tight for anything larger.

Snaps over my shoulder strap system. Holds batteries, cards, cleaning cloth. Clean seams, good snaps. Nice storage for batteries.

Great little pouch. It does most of what it says, and it's really convenient for holding those extra batteries. I shoot with Nikon cameras, and it holds my extra ENL15 batteries without an issue. I place them upside down when they're spent, so I can tell the difference. Of course, being a Nikon shooter also means that I use XQD and CFExpress cards, and this is where this pouch comes up short. The small zipper for memory cards isn't big enough for them in their case. It may be possible to squeeze two of them in there without cases, but the case isn't very thick, so I don't trust that it'd protect them very well. If you shoot with SD cards this shouldn't be an issue, but don't expect to use the memory card part of the pouch if you use XQD or CFExpress.

A plea to JJC: Please make a single-battery version of these with a lateral instead of vertical belt loop and a memory card pocket. A single battery pouch with lateral belt loop could be conveniently carried on a shoulder harness; as many as desired could be lined up, end to end. The reason that I went in search of something like this is because the wonderful little OP/TECH USA single-battery holsters are JUST barely too small to fit the Canon LP-E6 battery. I bought this "half-sized" two-compartment unit and also the bigger, otherwise identical, four compartment model; so, this review will speak for both. The only thing close is the Tenba Reload Battery 2 Pouch for about twice the money at this writing. The Tenba has one feature that I wish this one had = the two little straps and rings for either hanging the battery pouch on a lanyard of sorts, or hanging other things on the pouch itself; but, this is not a huge loss, as I have plenty of strap material, plenty of DEE-rings, and a heavy-duty sewing machine; if I decide I need the rings, I can add them. But then, this model has the little zippered compartment for memory cards and the like that is not present on the Tenba. As for the handy little zipper pocket: you get one on the 2-battery model and two zipper pockets on the 4-battery model; I was able to put two CF Compact-Flash cards in the pocket, so long as the CF cards were NOT in a protective case. A single CF card in the smallest plastic case I could find will NOT fit in the pocket. I have two sizes of SD card cases; I can easily put two of the smaller SD cards/cases in the pocket, but only a single SD card/case of the larger/longer size; I did not try to see how many loose SD cards would fit in there, but it looks like there is room for several. All stitching and construction seems to be top-notch. The velcro belt-loop is well made and seems like it should stay where it is put; you get a single loop on the 2-battery model and two loops on the 4-battery model. On the two examples I have, and I don't consider this a negative factor, there is a wee bit of difference in the size of the battery pockets; a Canon LP-E6 with the plastic cover attached is a very good fit; as a bonus, I am easily able to slip a CF card, in the protective case, in the pocket behind the Canon LP-E6; I can do this with one pocket on the 2-battery model and on both end pockets of the 4-battery model. ALL of the battery pockets will hold the Canon LP-E6 battery and a CF card that is not in a case. I can fit two Canon LP-E10 batteries in each pocket and two Canon compact camera batteries will fit as well. There are any number of other small necessities that could find a home inside one of these battery pouches, such as remote triggers and the like. I mounted the smaller 2/battery unit on my shoulder harness and I will find a place to mount the 4-battery model on my Zecti back-pack.

I got this item to help carry batteries and memory chips for my camera. That means I had to know which lens I wanted to use and had planned to take shots away from my car or home. So far I have been pleased with the design and it has allowed me to limit the amount of gear I needed to bring with me. I would still need to bring a bigger bag with me if I wanted multiple lenses, but I am quite pleased with this item. I have a Cannon EOS R6 MKII, which uses fairly small battery packs and regular sized flash cards. If your batteries are larger you may have to look for a larger carrier, check your specs for your battery.

Perfect Size for 2 camera batteries plus SD card storage. Has belt loop but, it can easily fit in your pocket, purse, or camera bag.

As a treasure hunter I use a metal detector and GoPro. This bag makes it easy to store my extra batteries for all my equipment.

Helps to keep things organised and in easy reach!

Great quality gadget pouch. My NP-FW50 Battery's for my A6400 camera fit deep inside the battery pockets, only take up 2/3's of the depth. Room for several Memory Cards in the 3rd zippered pocket.
