I had pre-ordered this cookbook since I follow MADAME FiFi's Blog CHEZ FIFI and heard about her upcoming cookbook from the blog site.I had ordered three a few for gifts but AMAZON sent me nine!At first I thought "OH>MY!" However, by the time I flipped through and read a few of the recipes I have to say I kept all nine books to use as gifts for dear ones and myself!I have cooked at least 15 of the recipes so far and not one has failed me!THe lamb shanks and white bean ragout were a hit with my family on Easter and the the SOUR CHERRY TART was a hugh hit!!!!!!!!I plan to work my way through the seasons of this new divine cookbook and enjoy every bite!The photos are beautiful and the recipes are on one page and very easy to follow.I totally recommend this book!

I absolutely love this cookbook.It is full of delicious looking recipes as well as beautiful pictures. It's the kind of cookbook you will want to pull off the shelf, bring into the living room while you curl up in your favorite chair, and read while you are planning what recipe to try next.With the recipes coming from actual cooks, they have all been tested as family favorites. Many are "farm to table" recipes we all welcome these days with emphasis on fresh and healthy ingredients (as well as some yummy looking desserts).Highly recommended!

First a disclaimer: I am one of the prairie pioneer cooks featured in this gorgeous book. Now, my completely unbiased rave review .When my copy of the book arrived, I was amazed how many recipes from other PC's (prairie cooks)I wanted to try. All have been absolutely delicious. Don't miss the Honey Grape Lemonade or the Vegetable Bread Pudding (trust me, this makes an amazingly hearty meatless dinner!) It was well worth firing up the grill for the Pine Needle Roasted Mussels, too.

I have long enjoyed Fifi O'Neill's other book, Romantic Prairie Style (which my son bought for me as an early Mother's Day present) and this cookbook, in the style of the earlier book, is just as lovely to look at. The recipes, though, seem pretty complicated and just not practical for everyday living. Romantic Prairie Style, though, is one of my favorite decorating books and one that I sit down and look through frequently. If it would come down between the two books, Romantic Prairie Style comes out the clear winner.

Fifi's "The Romantic Prairie Cookbook" is so much more than a cookbook. It is a feast for the heart and soul. There is so much to love about this book and the author who I personally know. I treasure my copy and her.

I love this book ! I have had the Romantic Prairie book for years and have really enjoyed it. I don't know why I waited so long to get this one.

This cookbook is packed full of gorgeous recipes and pictures. I haven't made anything yet as I only received this today but I certainly can't wait! The recipes look as though you won't need to spend a small fortune on ingredients as a lot of these recipes are made with fresh ingredients from either your garden or the supermarket. Fifi is definitely on my list of chefs to watch out for!

photos are stunning and the recipes delicious a pleasure to use. I love it when a cookbook reads like a book so that it is both useful and interesting.
