Ok here it goes, I was a bit skeptical about buying this item at first. I wasn't expecting it to look right on me. A bit about myself, I am a plus size (5'4, 300lbs) apple shaped woman. My apple ladies y'all know our troubles with this body type. 😤😵 Frustration, Frustration, Frrrrussstrationsss!! lolI purchased this garment in a 4x and received it in a couple of days via Amazon prime. It came in it's own backpack folded neatly and I must warn, it did have a plastic/chemical oder to it. I figure it may have been from packaging. I tried the garment on over my underwear, tmi sorry lol The padding on the hips were very soft against my skin. Fabric is stretchy and roomy. I liked the look but even better when I tried it on with pants. Listen ladies, it was an INSTANT confident boost!!! It gave me an hourglass shape, which I love very much 😍😍😍 Now the downside to it, it doesn't do anything for my flat pancake butt, BUT I read a review on this thread about pairing this with the padded brief underwear. So I will try that as well. I HIGHLY recommend this product and do plan on buying from this company from now on. Treat yourself ladies, this is a great product 💜UPDATE:I went ahead and order the brief padded panty on May 4th and received it today June 16th in a 4XL.The package came inside a aluminum looking bag, I opened it and in a separate clear bag I seen the brief. Pulled it out to discover that the butt pad inserts aren't foam like the padded hips garment. In fact they look similar to bra inserts but these aren't padded at all. More like a cardboard material, very weird looking. Trying them on, they did go on effortlessly but as I continue to walk they started to roll down. Maybe I should've went up a size to 5XL. So to the look, I tried on the hip shaper over the brief and then my pants. Ugh so much cringe. It didn't look right at all. Made my butt look like a 3D square 🤦🏽‍♀️ However when I tried it on with a flowy dress it didn't look bad at all. I did sit down while wearing them and whatever the brief inserts are made of, they didn't bend. They kept their shape. So I'm happy about that. Overall I say go up a size and don't wear tight bottoms. Flowy dresses, wide leg pants and or something loose fitted will work best.

I used this to accentuate my hips for an Ursula cosplay at Emerald City Comic Con and I was expecting to feel like I was wearing shapewear, but it was so comfortable and really added to the look. I got an extra 6 inches added to my silhouette and felt very much like my character. The padding was breathable so I didn't overheat from it, I was able to sit, walk, move, climb around, and most importantly, take photos. I paired this with the butt pads for added effect.Overall: Worth it, best bang for your buck, and you can layer these products to amplify your shape.

Didn't like the fact that it made me look fatter than I am..it fits okay without the padding but that's the whole purpose of me buying it wasn't what I got...My opinion if you have a FUPA don't purchase this pictular item,it also made my 🐱look fatterwhich was a plus 😂. The media could not be loaded. okay so, the padding itself is okay. I'd rate this 3.5 if it was based on padding alone, but for some reason, both pads, the front and back, create multiple ripples? I have a 25 inch waist, idk my hips or bust but yeah. I got the SMALLEST size possible, and it fits, but I would like it to be much tighter NGL.I don't know if the pads are rippling because they are to big, or because they are to small, wide, idek. it's the smallest size and any bigger would fall off me or be loose, so of ANYONE has ANY advice for how to get he ripples to he smooth without having to wear extremely tight multiple layer clothing over the pads, I'd reallllyyyy appreciate it!!

It fits very well and I enjoyed wearing it. Has reinforcements to ensure it stays up and doesn't roll down your tummy when you sit.However after a few wears the inner rods used to keep it from rolling down your tummy start getting uncomfortable. I've taken 3 of 4 of the rods off for comfort.It is also thick and the seam round the thighs easily shows through clothes.I may have to buy another one. For their price. They are better than most I've used.The breakdown on how I determine my star rating of a product…5 stars – I love it! Buy them. I am telling you this as a 33 year old woman who has spent years feeling uncomfortable in clothing. I purchased the longer shorts pair and plan to buy several more because this is a product that I don’t want to have to live without. They work. I am a size 10-12 and have zero hips. When I put these on they didn’t look obnoxiously large or obvious-I just looked like myself with more of an hourglass shape. Just give them a try. Worst case scenario you return them.In regards to sizing-I bought the large. I have smaller legs so they are a little loose in the legs but a tad tight in the waist (where I carry most of my weight). I would say these run pretty true to size as a I generally wear a size large in tops. I have tried these on under skinny jeans, joggers and black leggings and could not see them at all.Try them. They might be life changing for you.

One padding was thinner than the other. These have creases in them when you move. You can clearly tell that you are wearing pads.
