Whitmor Commercial Rolling Laundry Butler with Wire Storage Rack

I was looking for a good rolling cart to hold laundry supplies, and also needed a way to hang up clothes while doing the laundry, because I don't have an actual laundry room anymore, just a closet for the washer/dryer. I can't tell you how happy I am that chose this cart. There is plenty of room in the basket to hold all my supplies, a good sized hanging bar, and even a shelf underneath. I just tuck it into the corner of the office and wheel it in and out at need. It is sturdy, rolls easily, and I can see getting years of use out of it. The price was very reasonable, in my opinion. No wonder the reviews were better than a lot of more expensive ones I looked at. Also, most of the others sounded like a nightmare to put together, speaking of which...Regarding Assembly:I'd like to give this cart a BONUS STAR for assembly. The instructions are sketchy, mostly pictures, but sufficient because the cart was really easy to put together. All I needed was a Philips screwdriver and it seriously only took about 10 minutes, no exaggeration. Honestly it was a cake-walk compared to some "easy assembly" stuff I've has the displeasure of putting together. I was all ready for an arduous process on this one but *boom* a few minutes and I was done. I was thrilled, I tell you. I did have a little help from someone holding bars steady while I put in screws, which might have made it slightly easier, but I could have done it completely alone just fine.P.S. I am not a big, burly, handy-man saying it was easy, I'm a reasonably handy woman saying it was easy.

I replaced some old tall plastic hampers with these and it is just awesome to me how much they will hold. I can wheel them over to the bed to fold clothes if I feel like it without having to ask my husband to carry around "the mountain" of laundry we have every week. Pretty essential item for our family of 6 people +pets. I was able to put it together myself in just a few minutes, too.Its true that these are household grade hampers and not commercial. They will not survive an apocalyptic event or hold a hotel's worth of clothes. But compared to what ridiculously flimsy cheap nonsense I could find at bed bath and beyond for similar prices it is enormous and built like a tank.Just a tip- those generic small square plastic clean laundry baskets will fit right on top of the lip of these things so I can store my baskets nested on/in them or fold from one directly into the other and it works out pretty conveniently.My only complaint is just how tall they are- you cannot find a table for them to go under. It will have to be custom. The measurements given on amazon didn't line up with my baskets somehow so the table I bought just to go over these baskets didn't work. I had to prop up the legs of the table with random stuff. It would be nice if they were a little shorter and wider or squared or something. Just a minor practical design sort of thing though overall they are great for the price and do exactly what I need them to do. They appear to be built to last for the next several years. I think I will get a ton of use out of them.

Very sturdy and simple to put together. Here are the measurements of my hamper.Width of the opening (the inside of the ring from one side to the other)- 21 3/4 inchesWidth of the outside of the ring from one side to the other- 23 3/4 inchesTotal height (with wheels)- 32 1/2 inchesHeight from the floor to the bottom of the lower ring (with wheels)- 6 inchesHopefully the picture I posted is able to give you a better idea of the size. It's definitely the largest one that I have ever owned. The garbage can in the picture is a 32 gallon Rubbermaid with wheels (it's a little taller than a 32 gallon can without wheels), the hamper is a lot wider than the garbage can and could easily hold much more. The box in the picture is the box that the hamper came in.I followed the directions and I tightened everything up after I put it all together and haven't had anything come loose. The wheels glide nicely and the liner is very durable, my kids have tightly packed 6-7 extra large loads in it and the seams held up wonderfully.I am just happy to have finally found a hamper that is wide enough to catch all of the clothes that fall from my laundry chute and large enough to hold several large loads. Overall, I am very pleased with my purchase!

Even though I live alone in an apartment I have lots of clothes, a washing machine and plenty of dirty laundry by the time I have a day off from work. Those plastic laundry baskets never hold enough and as I get older picking them up isn't as easy as it once was. After checking measurements on Amazon I decided to buy this Whitmor Commercial Round Laundry Hamper. It was the best decision I've made in a while. Assembly was easy and the directions are a basic, exploded view of the product. Only issue I came across was with the round black plastic cup-like pieces that mount over the casters. They're there to protect the casters and anything that comes in contact with the wheels, so you don't scratch your appliances, for example. I decided to keep them off because they interfered with tightening the nut on the casters. I think a design change would solve this. All four casters are heavy duty and replaceable at any hardware store. I recommend taking one with you to the store to match the threads.The hamper is easily accessible and the fabric is a heavy plastic/canvas material and seems to be easy to clean with a wet rag. The top of the fabric rolls over the top metal hoop and attaches back down on itself with some metal hooks sewn on and spaced around the hamper. This helps to keep the bag open and it also protects against damage when you roll the hamper into your washing machine. The dimensions I took are 23.5" wide and deep from outside edge and 32.5" tall fully assembled. I'd recommend this hamper to anyone with kids or lots of laundry like me. It's large, very portable and well built. Now all I need is a day off from work.
