Aquarium Marine Reef Fish Tank Automatic Auto Top Off Water Filler Water Level Controller Smart Top Up ATO System (Micro ATO)

This was probably one of the best items I purchased for my saltwater aquarium. Before this I was adding water on a daily basis and now I only refill the top off bucket once a week.

Bought this to automatically refill a coffee machine’s water reservoir. I’m familiar with Saltwater fish tanks and ATO’s. I use much more expensive ATO’s on my tanks but wanted a cheap solution so I wouldn’t have to fill my Jura up 2x a day.I liked the small form factor of this and the built in cutoffs seemed like a nice feature; especially for the price. I hooked it up and it worked just fine. I went back the next day to put it in the water reservoir and it has stopped working. There is no light on the unit so it’s impossible to say if it’s the pump or sensor.Ultimately for a SW tank you are better off spending the extra $20 on a better unit. If this had happened to a tank and I leftfor vacation or even a day or two with a nano tank it would have been really bad.This unit also came with no siphon break which is annoying as it’s a 5 cent (but hard to find) piece.

Pump failed after only a couple months. This seller is not in the US and had no spare parts in stock. Lesson learned, buy from a more reputable brand.
