I love these lights! They even have a dimmer so you can adjust the brightness. My kitchen is not that big but the way the light is when I stand at the counter all I get is shadow. I have provided pictures of the counter with the lights off then on so you can see what a difference it makes.

This light kit comes with 3 sperate 12 inch light strips, a dimmer, a switch and two different kinds of connectors for attaching one strip to the other.A lot of thought went into this kit. From the lights themselves all the way to the packaging. You can connect each strip with a flexible wire in any configuration, or you can connect them with the included hard connectors to make one long strip. You can attach them to the desk or wall with the screwed in clips, or with the provided double sided tape, or both. The dimmer is sepeate from the rest of the cable so you can easily pass the wire through a hole as small as 1/2 inch. The cable has two swithes along its length. One is an on/off switch and the other is a dimmer that dimms all 3 light strips at the same time. The dimmer also has an off position. If I had one wish for this kit it would be a longer cord after the off switch. Honestly, I don't know what more you could ask from a desk light.I highly recommend this light. We have had this set for about six months now and absolutely love the ambience it gives in the kitchen. A few weeks ago the lights started to turn off on their own and wouldn't turn back on, so I email customer support and they are sending a free replacement for our faulty lights. I'm happy to keep using them for as long as they will last. Affordable, easy to install, and great appearance (and great, responsive customer service).

Normally I don't bother writing reviews, even though I tend to rely on them heavily when shopping on Amazon. These lights are so awesome though, I had to get on here and spread the word. I had them set up and turned on within five minutes of checking my mailbox, it was that simple and easy. I used the peel and stick option because I didn't want to mess with the hardware. In my opinion there's no need to mount them with the screws because they're so lightweight. They are nice and bright when turned all the way up, and I love that I can dim them if I want. All this to say I highly recommend these, totally worth the price.

Upgrading to 5 stars! The seller (Tekvilla) did indeed send me the new model for free, and it works great! They added a rocker switch to turn all the lights on/off at the same time. They also added a dimmer switch. The net result? You can choose any brightness lever you want (from dark to very, very bright) and it remembers that setting every time you turn the lights back on. Best I've seen.------------------------Adding more stars for great customer service. Seller refunded my money right away, even before receiving the returned item. They even offered to send me the new model that for FREE, which should fix the issues I had, once it becomes available.------------------------I should have read the "cons" in one of the other reviews before I bought these :-( Unfortunately, these lights would be painful to use. It turns out you have to touch them 3 times to get to the brightest setting. It doesn't lend itself to a switch, because each time you cut the power, you have to do the touching all over again. I was going to decide that was OK, just not preferable, but then I connected the other 2 strips to the first one and discovered that you have to touch all 3 strips individually, up to 3 times each if you want them all to be at the brightest level. And if you turn the light switch off, then the next time you turn it on you'll have to touch all 3 again 3 times each.
