Absorbine Medicated Shampoo & Spray Twin Pack

I have used these equine products for two years now. The medicated spray works on a lot of skin conditions, but do be careful- this is NOT for application to open wounds! I used the medicated spray for rain rot along with Vetricin spray to help my horse's rain rot clear up within a few days. The shampoo is also nice for summer heat-related fungi that seem to bother manes and tails in really warm and humid weather.

I love this double pack by Absorbine! My mare gets the normal "leg fungus" and also the crusty stuff above her eyes (in her sinus indents), and this double pack typically takes care of it. I've tend to rinse the areas needing shampoo before I feed her, add shampoo, then allow it to sit while I feed and rinse the suds off as soon as she is finished eating. I love the spray for the times in between needing to use the shampoo. My first double pack lasted me 2 years, only using it on her. The shampoo goes a long way, and also easily dilutes. The spray just lasts... Most recently I found this on Amazon as an "open box deal". The packaging "may have been damaged". When it arrived, it was slightly slimy, but the safety seals beneath both lids were still firmly in place, and it didn't look like any had leaked out... so I got a great deal!

This item works very well. Was a bit pricier than some of the items I've used with similar performance. The best part of this purchase is that it comes with 2 application methods.

Arrived on time. Used medicated spray on head right away as horse had lost a lot of hair and was so itchy. This product relieved the itching immediately. Had been using Banixx which was not helping this year. I had some iodine shampoo which was great for the rest of her body so I have not tried this shampoo yet.

This is a great product, it cleared up both of our horses skin problems! I now use this shampoo monthly to prevent rain rot. would recommend!
