Is there a way to override the automatic locking feature? this is for vfd and we need it to stay unlocked for various functions.

Do not buy this lock. This listing is wrong it is not a 5010 series . As it is described in the description as a 5010, it is actually a 5021 series. You cannot leave it unlocked. This is supposed to be for a stairwell door that has an exit device inside the stairwell, this is not that Lock. This is a lever handle on both sides.

is the schlage keyway and keys included?

All the locks that i have received have been a Schlage cylinder with with the appropriate key, great locks. I have used them for about 15 years. Bill
