Friendly and supportive book about all matters and concerns related to being or becoming a vegan
The book reviews many aspects of the vegan lifestyle as well as necessary nutritional information to ensure a healthy, balanced vegan diet. Victoria talks about the treatment of animals in dairy and meat industries. I know people avoid to see the horrific things that happen behind the slaughterhouses' walls and I used to do so myself. This book opened my eyes! I learned the depth of the horrors facing the billions of creatures who give their lives each year so needlesslyOverall, I am becoming more and more optimistic about becoming a vegan (currently a vegetarian)! And I am keeping the book as a reference as I continue on my vegan journey.

Excellent Source of Info!
In 2017, I chose to become Vegan. After a life of eating mostly plant-based foods, it just made sense. I LOVED how I felt and how I looked. I not only lost 79.3 lbs in 7 months, I felt energized & alive! After this, I "fell off the vegan wagon"..gained it all back, stopped making ME/My Healthy a priority. Today, I have made the FINAL decision to continue my Vegan lifestyle and this book helped me make that choice! Thank you!

Thought provoking
I was thinking about becoming a vegan for health reasons and animal cruelty issues. This book helped me decide to go vegan. Some of it is difficult to read, but I don't know how an animal lover could not be swayed. Non-judgemental, but informative, seems well researched.

Returned. This was more a book about the philosophy of going vegan (animals, sustainability etc) and I wanted a book on tip for how to go vegan.

A Must Read! Great Book!
I bought this book as a recommendation from a friend. When I started reading it I couldn’t put it down so I ended up reading it in one day! This book is great for anyone who is new to vegan isn’t or currently leading a vegan lifestyle. I highly recommend!!

What an easy, great read!
Inspiring book with plenty of well-researched information. Ideal for beginner vegans who want to learn more about all aspects of being vegan. It covers everything you need to know and really motivates you to make the change. Totally recommend it!

Excellent book
The author is outspoken (like me!) and passionate but not judgemental. I feel this book is extremely thorough and precise which I loved. From food choices, practices of the meat industry, clothing, nutritional information, to the ethical and health benefits. Everything was so carefully outlined. Highly recommended for anyone who is interested in reducing their dependence of animal products in their diet. I'm buying this book for all my friends!!!
