As another reviewer mentioned, the curtains are a about a foot shorter than specified. Two curtains cannot be grouped for one contiguous effect. Also the last light in each set is dead. Not sure it’s some kind of dummy resistor or diode but nonetheless it looks like an led but just won’t light up. Hoping software updates and feature adds in the future will allow grouping of multiple curtains.

The media could not be loaded.  These are a bit if a hassle to figure out. But it does get better. At first, after spending hours attempting it, we couldn't put the lights on wifi or even connect to Bluetooth. I had to use the WiFi from the lights to pair with my phone and set them separately, hoping I could line matching patterns up well enough for two sets hanging side by side. But every time my kids played with settings (pressed buttons on the cords), it took a while to fix to my liking.Finally, a few weeks later, a firmware update appeared that changed things. Finally Bluetooth and wifi capable, syncing two sets of lights has become a real show. Then my husband thought adding a third string would be even better. With three strings added together, there are glitches that weren't there with two strings synced. Sometimes the timer for the group only turns one or two strings of the lights on/off. I still haven't mapped all three strings perfectly, but it works well enough to keep us entertained.I agree with another review, Twinkly has got to up their game or someone else will come along and make a much better product without glitches, leaving Twinkly in the dust. I also agree with needing more effects options. Some of them are poorly laid out on the big curtains (santa, the heart, and emoticons). Others don't have enough customizable features.

Wonderful product that makes decorating any time of year fun. Easy to put up and set up. I used the Twinkly app on the Apple App store. I had the 2018 (Gen 1) icicle lights previously, and these are even better. Comes with lots of fun light flashing patterns and you can make your own in any color. Two sets are plenty enough to cover a standard sliding glass door. Highly recommend.

I spent countless ours trying to update , connect to and set up these lights. eventually i got them to work . For the price, the effect was very underwhelming. You have to get three of these to actually enjoy the effects. I had to hook up my old router which has 2.4 ghz to get it to work with my phone.

The dimensions listed here were not accurate. they were about a foot wider than it said and about a foot shorter vertically, which meant they did not fit the space I intended them for very well.One LED was DOA.The software was not very good. For this amount of money I was expecting much better designs for the lights. There were not very many effects available (not even close to what I would consider a "ton" as advertised). Most of them did not have very elegant patterns (would have liked more fading between colors and more classy shimmering effects) and the customizations were very limited (and I was unable to edit any of the downloaded ones, even though the website says they're all customizable). Creating new effects was very, very limited. Basically you could sort of draw a picture and do a basic animation, but there were no tools for making any effects like the preset ones, let alone doing anything nicer. It's a real shame to have this much technology in the lights and such a huge lack of good effects to use them with. Twinkly really needs to hire a good designer to help remedy that. I am hoping this will get better, but for now I'll have to settle for effects that are gimmicky, but not really elegant. Also, FYI I am a software designer so I have some knowledge about this stuff, and they really need to up their game in this department or a competitor will come demolish them with nicer looking stuff.Overall the hardware is pretty neat and I'm excited about the future of this stuff, but for now the execution of the effects and the app design needs a lot of work.I'll update my review if things get better in the future.

These lights are awesome, however for the price I feel as if the app needed to offer more customization, besides the basic template options they give you out of the box.

I love these lights to bits. You can change the design, colour and even create your own patterns. They're bright and put a smile on your face.

Fun colors, but can have hiccups in the app and syncing. Hopefully future updates fix this
