Saw immediate improvement in temps
I had been running my new nvme for a few days, and noticed it would sometimes get as hot as 65 Celsius, but would idle in the low 50's.Figuring this was a cheap enough experiment, I ordered this heatsink kit, and immediately saw idle temps in the low 40's and now rarely goes above 50. Another plus is that the temp doesn't fluctuate a much, with slower&smaller rise and fall.Even though the pictures show a single heatsink it is indeed a 2-Pack like the listing states.I didn't have any problems getting the rubber bands on, and they seem flexible enough to provide enough squeeze without harming any components.

Too thick for my Dell 9370 laptop.
This copper heatsink appears well made. The thermal adhesive strip is a little bigger than the copper heatsink, but can easily be trimmed by setting it on the heatsink and gently pushing downward over the edge of the heatsink, rubbing off the excess. Unfortunately, this heatsink combined with the included thermal adhesive is too thick for my Dell 9370 laptop, making my case bottom not fit and causing it to bow and stick out. When I did not add the thermal adhesive, the case bottom seem to fit better, but then my memory stick would presummably not get the heat transfer and desired cooling affect.

Look no further for a low cost copper m.2 heatsink
This dropped my Samsung Evo 970 m.2 nvme drive by 20 degrees Celsius. I was originally sitting at 80-85 with a max of 88 under an Aida64 stress test. It was so hot because my m.2 drive is on the back of an Asus Z97i-Plus mini ITX motherboard inside a tiny case with little airflow to the back. But after adding this, a different thermal pad rated at 6w/mk and a noctua 40mm fan pointed at it, I am now hitting a maximum of 60 degrees under load. Pretty happy with how it turned out. It fit perfectly in my Hadron Hydro case. I needed a low profile one and this was perfect leaving about 2-3mm of room for airflow.

These aren't the bands you're looking for
I got the 1-pack copper heatsink, and received 2 bands as pictured on the product page. Only instead of 2 similar bands, I got 2 crazy-different bands. (See my photo.) The difference between them is so huge, you have to wonder how the packer missed the disparity. You have to wonder if there's any quality control at all. Sigh. I'll wait to try the heatsink until I get some usable bands...

Great for a cooled case but not in a laptop
I've noticed Samsung Evo nvme drives do better without heat sinking. When you put a heat sink on one of tbese, at first you have one or two extended bursts of speed ... But then, your heat sink actually works against you by not cooking off as fast as the nvme drive does without heat sinking - performance is much worse with the heat sink. Samsung clearly states their drives provide their own heat management

More surface area
I like that it has more surface area for potential cooling. I also used some thermal pads on the bottom of my NMVe in conjunction with this to maximize my cooling. Dropped about 17 degrees Celsius. Very nice!

MOBO Problem
Not compatible with ASUS Strix Z270i Gaming with stacked frontal heatsink for both VRM and M.2 NVMe SSD. Idle at 49c......

Fits into tight area under Pcie mini slot card. Copper for max cooling density
Thermal pad installed OK. Includes a mini clean & mini dry wipe to prepare SSD surface. Going to a taller cooler was not an option due to installed Soundblaster card. Testing shows consistent burst sustained write speeds @ 10 second intervals. ( over 800 MB/Sec )

No cumple su función, todo lo contrario.
Lo utilicé en un Mac Pro 5,1, en unas de las bahías PCIe con un SSD M.2, lejos de enfriarlo lo calentó mas. No sirve para nada.

A must have item for highend pc/laptops
Quality product, copper has good thermal density to draw and spread heat away from those chipsets and controllers affected by heat.
