Great product for the price, very few cons if any
Well, if you're looking for a decent EDC knife that you dont mind handing to someone to cut something and not looking like a serial killer, this is the perfect knife. I think it has a very classy element to it. It also has a style most people who are into knives or can appreciate them will enjoy. The mechanics of the knife work well in everyday tasks. It is spring loaded. Sometimes it doesnt open all the way but that's not really a downside to me. It's a spring "assist". So it gets the job done. The clip is very strong and easy to put on your pocket. The entire thing is built out of what feels like quality materials for this price range. You can't beat it. I was also pleasantly surprised that it could pass the paper cutting test right out of the box and it holds its edge pretty well. I'd say that the only con I have is the point of the knife is not as pointy as it could be for those small stabbing style cuts. Nothing a little edge work couldnt fix though. Normally it would never come into play. I'm just being picky. The wood is mounted with screws. So it's not going to just fall off. First thing I did was put a little loctite on all the screws. As a preemptive measure. Overall though. For the price, classy style and "cool" design of the blade. You can't beat it. Also it's the perfect pocket knife size. Not to big. Not to small. Definitely worth the buy.

A blade as sharp as the devil himself
Just received this today. First impression: cut my thumb trying to open it. It does have a spring assist, but this is not a flip open knife. Attempting to open it with my thumb caused a small cut because the blade doesn't extend fully with the spring assist. It only extends half way. I have never seen a blade that opens in this fashion. It isn't a deal-breaker, but it will take some getting used to. Hoping that after some use, the blade opens up a little easier to full extension. This knife has great weight and feels solid in my hand. The blade is substantial, which is a plus. The edge is razor sharp out of the box. I do a lot of carpet removal and expect that this blade will get that job done with ease. I'll be interested to see how well it keeps its edge and how well it sharpens when needed.I own a couple of Kershaw blades with the open assist and love them, but I wasn't able to find a Kershaw like this at a similar price. I expect this will get a lot of use, which will be great if I don't slice off my thumb in the process.

Impressed
I always wanted a cleaver style folding knife so I figured I'd buy this one. Now I wasn't expecting much with it being a budget knife but the quality is actually impressive. It's very smooth on the open/close no wiggle or any in the blade at all. Now the metal isn't exactly the best but it's a good enough steel for daily jobs. So if you're in the market for a cleaver style knife you don't wanna worry about getting dirty this is the one here hands down.

Sharp!
I agree with other reviewers that this knife came sharp! I love it for its performance but the design could be a bit better. There’s a wooden part on the handle which looks good and is well done but on the back side of the handle- no wood. It kind of looks like it was forgotten but I know it wasn’t. It was just designed that way. I can live it though. The blade is large, super sharp, and flicks open with ease. I like the shape of the blade too, I find it unique and it is very sharp and hasn’t dulled with moderate use. In the words of Hattori Hanzi in Kill Bill vol. 2 - “I can tell you with no ego, this is my finest sword. If on your journey, you should encounter God, God will be cut.”

Added to my amazons great buy list.
What a great buy. I own a recon1 cold steel folder for 10 plus years and lost it. I have the same knife as replacement but I've been so reluctant to use it because of how much they cost nowadays. For everyday use I wanted something cheaper that I can abuse like a red headed stepchild (figure of speech). This folder is the sheeznit (is that a word) sharp and that blue color is cool as flock (I have to behave due to amazons rules) 😁 So far I've mistreated it and held up but we'll see if it holds, I don't expect it to be like my old recon 1 but for what I paid for it I don't care and I'll just buy another which I might do because it impressed me that much. I consider this one of amazons great buy.

I'm not even a knife guy.
I absolutely love this knife and as the subtle title implies, I'm not even a knife guy. I love the spring loaded active response to the touch. I find myself getting familiar with it, working it when I dont even need it.The only thing is that the ergonomics are slightly underdeveloped but for the price you cant beat it. I would like a little better quality metal for the blade. If you ever draw this knife in a emergency response or in a self defense scenario you will have had to work on your draw and tactical grip long before you rise to meet the challenges.

Great knife especially for the price! Awesome deal!
I really like these knives and I was not disappointed. It is sharp enough to shave with right out of the box. The over feel and stability is the same as the smaller one.My ONLY issue is that the other side with the linerlock on it looks unfinished to me. I think the design could have been better. But it is only a small issue. The rest of this knife is pretty great especially for the price. And at that price you can beat it up and not feel bad. I will definately buy more of these for gifts.
