Amazing light; crummy mount
Holy spit, this thing is BRIGHT. Accidentally had it aimed near my face the first time I turned it on and had a retinal spot for a good twenty minutes afterward. Plenty of light for riding on poorly-lit streets at night and bright enough in the daytime that oncoming pedestrians have commented on it as I rode by them. Seems really well constructed and has a nice heft for its size—feels like quality gear. I’ve seen trashy plastic lights at this price point and above. No comparison!Coupla things that knock off one star:1) I don’t see that much difference in the three brightness levels, though it doesn’t make that much difference on the street.2) UGOE says they have improved the slipping problem with the holder and light, but I find the light slips back and forth a lot while I ride. I’m riding ten or so miles most days, sidewalks/bike paths/city streets, not glassy smooth but not particularly rough, either. UGOE, why don’t you put a rougher-textured band around the middle of the light to grab the textured insert in the mount better, or make some locking grooves around the middle of the light that would fit into the mount? I’m going to try a layer of nitrile glove in between the light and the holder to see if that prevents the back-and-forth movement of the light. Or maybe a bit of painter’s tape over the top for really long/rougher rides. The light hasn’t come out, but it always moves forward and backward during my rides.Other than these quibbles, this is an excellent little light. I have already adopted it as my go-to home flashlight as well. It easily outclasses all my older, larger flashlights for ease of use and brightness for its size. It's the first really satisfying bicycle light I’ve had in years.Addendum 12/14/16: UGOE, you need to FIX THE PROBLEM WITH THE MOUNT, period. I have to use nursing tape (3M Transpore), a very sticky tape, to keep the light from sliding forward and backward in the collar, applying the tape from the side of the mount across the top of the light and to the other side of the mount to make it stay in place. Even with the tape, I can see that the light has tried to shift forward or backward during my rides. This is such an issue that I’m deducting another star. So: brilliant (literally) light; CRUMMY mounting hardware.

Great flashlight, mounting bracket needs work.
I purchased the light for full retail on February 5, 2015. It's a well made product. It's a little heavy for the intended use. The mounting bracket is easy to mount on the bike. The light is brighter than old school flash lights and lights up your path ahead about 30 or 40 feet. It illuminates road imperfections like pot holes and pedestrians with ease. The only flaw is the mounting bracket which is a friction bracket. With this present mounting set up if you hit something at speed that jars the handle bars chances are the heavy flashlight will come off the bracket and go flying. Mine did this on the third night ride and the impact may of been fatal to the electronics as it's not working. I like the product, fix the bracket.

Worked for a few months then gone
This light worked fairy well for a few months and was relatively bright, especially for its price. The USB charging was nice and worked well. I had seen many reviews here critical of the light falling out so I was cautious, but found no shaking on road cycling. However, I finally had it fall off once this week, and it is completely dead since then: it just fell from my bike handlebars, I just picked it up and stuffed it in my pocket for the ride home but once home I noticed it was very hot and no longer worked, even after I tried charging it a few times. That isn't very durable at all.

Brightness at affordable price
I have owned about 5-6 bike lights the past couple of years, ranging from 100 lumens to 500 lumens, pricing between $10 and $40 (I am not willing to pay anything more for a bike light). My priority is brightness at the cheapest prices available. This one is by far the brightest of the bunch I've owned and not that much more expensive. If you're willing to pay more, I'm sure there are better ones out there. In addition to brightness and price, this is also compact and you can carry it walking or on the beach at night. It's also nice having it USB rechargeable, so charge it from your vehicle, laptop, portable charger, or electrical outlet (assuming you have the proper charging cables). I can't speak to how long the battery life is, the longest we've gone is about an hour and never had a problem with battery life. I own 2 of these now and wouldn't hesitate to buy more if needed.

Awesomely bright bike light w/ nice features ...until you hit a "bump in the road"
Dead after one good use! I love the look, size, brightness and variations this light offers. I'm giving it two stars because I'm disappointed in the weakness of the clamp construction and durability of the light. I just went on my first dusk road ride with this bike light two days ago and was loving how awesomely bright it is! It was lighting up the road and signs in front of me almost like my car's high beams (just more concentrated) ...until I went over a fairly low & flat speed bump too fast! I then found out the hard way that the clamp it comes with doesn't lock the light in place very well. The light popped out of its holder onto asphalt and immediately shut off then would not turn back on again with only a couple slight nicks to the butt of the light but NO visible damage to the bulb/lense. I've tried charging it since then and it becomes warm as though its charging, but the blue charge light never comes on and the light no longer works. Sadly, its dead after one good use!UPDATE 8/16/2016: I'm changing my review to 3 stars because the manufacturer was responsive in replacing the broken light. However, the new light came with the same style clamp which has an open side that will not protect the light from popping out after hitting a solid bump. I will therefore have to jerry-rig the clamp to keep the light from becoming dislodged on bumpy roads (as other reviewers have done) to better protect this otherwise great, but not extremely durable little light.
