CC Mixed Deionization Resin Bed Color Changing 2.5 Lb Bag

The media could not be loaded.  First of, the product is NOT new/fresh. It is regenerated. It came with a household 1-gal size ziplock bag, sealed with a household sealer. It was wet and you can see water condensation inside the bag. Not an air seal bag. The weight is supposed to 2.5lbs, not sure about the weight since I didn’t measure it. Here is the problem. I have a 4-stages RO + 3 stages DI-resin. This will be replacing 3rd stages DI-resin for my saltwater fish tank. I gave it a tried overnight and this Di-resin can only reduce the water TDS values from 50 down to 22 and not 0, unlike another brand that I used before would immediately reduce the TDS value down to zero. Here is another problem. Because it is wet therefore it is not good for a long time storage as it will grow mold in few weeks. The sellers should have indicated that this is a regenerated DI-resin or make the buyer aware. I will not be buying this product as it is wasting my time and causing problems to my fishtank as it is not very affective. See my pictures and make your own decision. I am going to return it.

The bags came unvacuum sealed and dry. Had already started to change colors . The only reason I did not return it is that I had to have it right then . This size package from BRS usually lasts me around 4-6 months . This made less than 100 gallons of water . Save your money and buy something from a reputable seller.

I was worried because there are a lot of negative review saying this doesn’t last very long etc. But I have to say, I am pleasantly surprised! I usually go through oneFilter every 2 weeks. Since I’ve used this resin to refill an old filter. It’s still going strong and looks as though it will outlast the old filters and then some! Great value!Updated: I am never buying pre-filled filters again! They never last me more than 2 weeks, but this stuff lasted almost an entire month!!!! Changed it on May 3rd and it's just now spent on May 29th!! Great stuff!!!!

Was a reorder. Us it for a spot free rinse on my motorhome.

Better value than BRS brand if you include the shipping charge at BRS. We have Amazon Prime membership, so the 2 day "free" shipping (cost of Prime membership) is a huge plus. Also, 2 day shipping vs. BRS's 4-7 days.I have been completely satisfied with both quality and quantity of this purchase. 2 standard refills for sure, but I've seen it fill nearly 3. If ordered a second time, total refills is easily 5.

My first time trying this brand and I have to say, it seems to be lasting longer than other more popular brands I have used in the past. My TDS are still great as well. Very pleased!

Does what it says it does. I use this to repack the DI cartridge for my RO Buddie. Lots of DI resin in this packaged, probably good for three or four refills on my Buddie. Much cheaper to buy this and repack yourself than to buy those replacement cartridges.
