The media could not be loaded.  Excuse the cat in my video. I never leave reviews but I had to for this kit. This was my 5th time doing polygel nails. I first had bought one bottle of clear and the basics I needed from a different brand to practice with. I had gotten better each time I tried so I went ahead and bought this set. No one will be great at this the first time, that’s with any polygel, but it’s easy to learn and only takes a couple tries before you start to get better. I watched tons of YouTube videos about how to do it and I also bought Makartt’s nail dehydrator and primer. Yes I think it’s a must to have those otherwise the nails fall off easily. This kit and the dehydrator and primer is all you need. In the video, my nails had been on for almost 3 weeks. They lasted that long with no cracks chips or falling off. I highly recommend this kit. I will be able to do my nails for months maybe even a year for $30. It was fun, and I get to choose exactly what I want and how I want it. The polygel was easy to work with and obviously I am not perfect but they are good enough that I have gotten so many compliments and now my friends want me to do their nails! I will never pay $60 at a nail salon ever again. I will use polygel forever after finding this.

I love this kit! It came with six 15ml tubes of poly gel, (5 tubes are different shades of pink and 1 tube of clear.), a really nice nail filer, the brush and spatula tool, slip solution, base coat and top coat polish, dual forms with the case, 4 little pods of nail glitter, different sized rhinestones, the nail form stickers, and the led mini light.. Everything that a beginner like me would need in order to be able to use poly gel for the first time! I was a little nervous since I had never done my nails this way before, but I was also excited to finally get a chance to try it. Before I got started I watched a ton of Emily Susannah's YouTube videos and paid attention to how she applied Makartts poly gel dual forms and just followed her directions, along with the directions that came in the kit. I had read in some of the other reviews that some peoplehad a hard time getting the gel out of the tube, but thankfully that wasn't the way it went for me. The gel came out of the tube easily, and the only issue I had was in the beginning because I kept using too much slip solution on my brush which kept making the gel kinda "messy". But after doing the first nail I got the hang of it quickly and love the finished look. This was much easier to do than I expected it to be... I would honestly recommend any beginner to give this kit a try. If they do, I'm sure they will be just as pleased as I am. I will definitely be purchasing some of the other Makartt poly gel kits soon!

I love all the extras in the kit. I can say the shades of the pink polygel are a bit off. Maybe for 3d flowers or molds on nails.

Ok so I’m not a professional but I do have some experience but I do love this kit I wish the tube were bigger but other then that it’s great.1. The forms stick great and are sturdy not at all flimsy like other ones I’ve gotten2. The colors are great beautiful I just love the colors I just wish they were bigger tubes3. Base and top coat are amazing cures great.4. The slip solution... meh I ended up using alcohol because the slip solution makes it slimy may be user error but alcohol worked great so I don’t know5. THE LIGHT!!! So good I love it cures everything, tiny and portable great for flash curing. I just love it6. File and brush amazing quality7. Duel forms meh I don't like the curve I bought tips to use so if you don't like a curve don't use em use the forms or buy some tips8. Glitters are pretty but not enough clear polygel to do much with themAll together it’s a great kit but make sure you buy a PRIMER AND DEHYDRATOR or these WILL NOT STAY ON. But that’s with any nail extensions. nail prep is key to the longevity of this product so push back your Cuticles and buff the nail plate then dehydrate and prime or it won’t stay. Makartt has great products and I will definitely be getting more soon I just wish you could buy them individually.

The media could not be loaded.  To start off, I’ve never been one to do my nails, I’ve painted them a couple times but that’s about the extent of my nail knowledge. So I’m a complete beginner. Before getting this kit, I watched like a thousand tutorials on YouTube. This kit is great if you know how to use it. A lot of the reasons people say, its not great, is because they’re using it wrong. However, I love this kit! I don’t usually leave reviews but I just finished doing my nails for the first time and they look so great that I had to. It’s not completely easy to use but with time and patience they look great. My only complaint is that the gel is super sticky. I feel like it would be slightly easier to use if it was a little firmer. Another thing, is when I got this kit, I was scared that the nail drying light wouldn’t work because It's wattage is so low. However, it worked great! Just make sure to let your nails cure for at least three min. I totally recommend this kit and trying out polygel!!! I’m going to include a video of my nails, i used the see-through poly gel, shaped them, and painted over them with nail polish.
