Keeps the dog from chewing the mail
My dog hates the mail man. He is clearly a dangerous invader. She saves our lives daily by attacking the mail as it comes through the slot. I put this bag up and now when she hears the mailman approaching, she comes running and rips the bag down, which keeps her busy til the mail is through. The bag and the velcro adhesive is very durable apparently, it’s been heavily quality control tested over here.

Great for stopping drafts and catching mail!
We purchased the snail sakk to help prevent cold winter drafts from coming in through our mail slot. It’s been very helpful at preventing drafts, and it’s also been super helpful for catching our mail in one spot. Before we used a basket under the mail slot, but mail always bounced out or missed the basket. This product stops that problem. It was very easy to install - we simply followed the instructions. The adhesion has been great. We’re very happy with this product and would recommend!

Great mail holder
We have a slot in the front door for mail, love it when we are going on vacation, hate it daily when mail drops to the floor. We know when mail man arrives by the sound of the mail landing on the tile floor. This little bag has saved my husband's back from bending and presents a clean front area. It was not expensive but it was a very useful purchase. I highly recommend it. It can hold a lot of mail as well. Color is perfect, I don't feel the need to wash it weekly. I have not wash it since I purchased it several month ago. I was also worried that it would fall off and not stay in place, it has not been a problem.

Excellent solution for older adults
This was purchased for a 95 year old with arthritis. Not only does it look much nicer than expected, it was very easy to install. It blocks the draft from the slot (a big deal in 0° temps!) and retrieving the mail from the pouch is not at all difficult. Mail is held in the soft pouch until a hand easily slides on and pulls it out. No more bending to pick up mail and papers scattered about the floor. The only regret is that we didn't find this earlier!

Low profile, lessens draft and noise from delivery
An interesting find to say the least but I love it! Wish it was all one color, or maybe if only had the single word “mail” at top without the snail at bottom, but whatever. It catches the mail nearly instead of having it fall in disarray all over the floor. It’s super easy to adhere and lies very closely to the door that it’s ALMOST imperceptible. What I also love is that it lessens the draft as well as the slamming noise that comes from the flap when mail is delivered. Not only did that used to scare me but it would freak out my dog who’d then jump up and bark for several minutes. Big dog means big bark which means very startling! Haha!

Great way to collect mail!
I was so tired of walking all over my mail when I got home every day and having to try to pick up tons of stuff off the floor so I decided to buy this ... it works great! Plus, it covers up the mail slot from any prying eyes that might try to see in, which is an added bonus that I hadn’t even thought of before looking at the features of this product. In today’s world, any extra bit of privacy that I can get, I’ll take. Easy to install and good quality.

Great mail slot solution
Ordered this for our through the door mail slot. Covers the back slot nicely and was available in black which is nice so that it blends in with our black iron front door. Our dog is curious about it and has only pulled the mail out once, so hopefully his mail "issues" will relax with this now too. We considered several options including installing a back side to the mail slot or going to an outdoor mail box because the mail person keeps leaving the front side open after dropping the mail through and living in a very hot climate, it was a energy waste. This was a pricey option but also a quick and simple one to install right away. I love it. I am hoping the velcro lasts a long time, would be nice to get an extra set with the package.

Wouldn't Want to be Without it
Just recently had a new Front Entry Door put in my home. I had the professional installer put in a Baldwin mail slot. I had wanted to get my mail through the front door for quite sometime.I hadn't even thought about having to pick up mail from the floor everyday. I found it very noisy also.Well, the SNAIL SAKK is Fantastic !Not only is my mail easy to grab, but the mail dropping into the SAKK makes for a much quieter delivery into your home.

A decent solution to keep your mail in check and away from pets….just about.
For 9 months our Border Collie puppy, Storm, had never taken an interest in the post. The last month, however, it’s all become very interesting. She’s been exercising her secretarial skills by intercepting the mail, opening and reading it. And then eating it. I’m not so bothered about the junk mail, but she’s not prejudiced and will eat any bank statement, bill, or missed delivery card that comes through the letter box. Noticing that most of my debit/credit cards are coming up for replacement in the next couple of months I thought I’d better take steps to prevent them from being nothing but a smelly soft lump in the back garden. Now, the obvious solution is a mail cage fitted to the inside of the door. However, we have a cupboard right next to the front door which would prevent the door being fully opened if as cage was fitted. Not ideal, so I went looking for other solutions and found this post catcher by Snail Sakk. It’s a basically a canvas bag, and comes with two adhesive-backed Velcro strips which you place above and below your letter box, and then attach the bag to. It’s big enough to hold anything that comes through the letter box, including small-boxed Amazon deliveries. For keeping post off of the floor it does the trick. But, is it dog proof? Well, not entirely. In fairness, the manufacturer doesn’t claim that it is, and even says that it won’t necessarily stop pets from getting to your mail. There are two issues. Firstly, when the postie comes to the door it attracts the dogs attention, so they will be drawn to investigating the mail bag. Secondly, even if the postie hasn’t been, they’re attracted to the new flappy thing hanging from the door at their eye level. Storm has pulled the bag off of the door half a dozen times since we’ve had it. Fortunately, being Velcro, it hasn’t caused any damage to the door and I’ve just rehung it. It has stopped her getting to the mail on most occasions though. Once, she did manage to get at the mail inside, but on the other occasions I’ve come home to a sheepish looking dog and the bag on the floor….but the mail still inside and intact. So, for the purposes the manufacturer intended it, it works very well and installs in two minutes. For the purpose I intended it for, it’s helped reduced incidents of digested mail but not eliminated it. Despite that, given the ease of installation, product quality and it does what the manufacture claimed it does I must still award it a recommended review.

Does the job and looks great.
I LOVE this! My dog has always had a tendency to try and kill any mail which comes through the door; I’d forgotten just how much as I’ve had an external mail box for around a year.Having moved house and having a letterbox again has been a bit of a shock. She’s matured from being a puppy and she’s like lightening now. I’d thought of getting a mesh box for the back of the door but that may have just felt like a challenge to her!I saw this product and thought it was worth a try. It’s brilliant! The fabric is lovely, it is extremely easy to attach and it looks very neat on the back of the door. The post makes very little noise as it slides into the pocket and SHE DOESN'T EVEN KNOW ITS THERE!!An added bonus is that I don’t have to reach down to pick the post up from the floor, hadn’t thought about that but I’m loving that too. It’s a really good size and seems to cope with everything that’s come through the door so far - even small parcels.I’d definitely recommend this if you want something to collect your post in, its far nicer than a mesh box and it keeps the draughts out. What’s not to like!

Probably not the best review - but it does what it's intended
I'm probably not the best person to write a review, as numpty here didn't install it properly. I saw it came with a weird white plastic measuring thing, tossed it aside and thought 'I have a master's degree! How hard can this be?' Well, it turns out, being able to forensically analyse a hard drive doesn't mean you can install two plastic strips on a door! So, I would recommend, if you buy one, please do use that weird white plastic measuring thingy, those strips aren't easy to replace if you muck it up - and yes, there are instructions! And, yes I did try to replace the strips, to ammend my mistake, but panicked when it started to peel off the top coat of paint, instead I decided it will be a permanent addition to the flat for future tenants to appreciate and began to write my Last Will and Testament incase my landlord finds out I've damaged the front door. Aside from the fact it isn't quite fitted properly, and the top part sticks out like nipples on a hooker standing on Machester Road in winter (notorious road in Swindon for ladies of the night), not quite giving it that all important draft exclusion that I intended, it still is pretty neat and useful. It's pretty thick (the material, not judging it's IQ), it doesn't look like a wet nappy hanging from the door, and in a small way it does help keeping in my precious hybernation heat and keeping out the smell from one of the pesky neighbours that likes to share her second hand cigarette smoke. Oh and it 'catches' my post so after my trip to the local for my scratch card, can of fosters and a cornetto, I'm not making foot paintings all over the envelopes. Overall, I would probably recommend.

My post is safe again.
After my dog had decided that he had gotten a taste for my post I was looking at getting a cage for the letter box. Unfortunately my front door is upvc and has glass panels both above and below the letter box with no way of being able to fit a cage. The snail sakk presents the perfect solution, it attaches with velcro so doesn't damage the door and sits nice and flush to the door as well so you don't damage anything behind the door as you open it. I have been using it for about three years now and it has saved my letters from the dog ever since.

Catch those letters! ✉
Easy to install we've been trying it out for a bit now we wanted it to catch the majority of post instead of it flying across the hallway when the postman shoves the post in the letterbox or it lands on straight on the floor. We also wanted a flat design as a cage would of been too bulky it's good it's flexible when the postman puts the post half way in the letterbox and catches the post when it falls all the way in all in all a good alternative to the large cage
