Great Fan. Light is perfect for a medium sized room
I finally found a fan I like! Love the style, the size, and the light, actually. I was concerned when I read the reviews indicating the light was too dim but, as you can see, it is perfectly bright for this room (about 12x14 ft). It works really well, and it’s very quiet at at full speed. The remote and its buttons are a bit unpredictable though and, on the slow fan setting, it makes this clicking noise that I truly hope we can fix because that’s our preferred setting . I’ll post an update once we do fix it (or don’t).REVISED: The clicking sound fixed itself. We installed a second fan (52 in) in our family room where it does not look as bright, but it still is an excellent, modern, low profile fan

Quality!!!
Can’t say enough how beautiful and functional these are!! Plenty of power and the light is perfect! I would highly recommend.

Good fan, could use a couple improvements for greatness.
I really like this fan. I may order a second one soon. It has a great modern look. Runs silent. Good airflow. Low profile design. Install is pretty easy.Unfortunately there are two issues I have found.1) There are no controls without the remote or the wall switch. If you wire the remote to a single wall switch so that the fan and the light are wired together than your only way to independently control both are to use the remote. DON'T LOSE THE REMOTE. An improvement would be to include fan adjustments and on/off buttons for both somewhere on the fan itself.2) There is a neat little beep that the fan makes when you use the remote to adjust the fan or turn something on or off. It adds a modern "advanced" touch to the fan. However, it is a bit loud and can be disturbing to someone sleeping. I would suggest the ability to control volume or turning it on or off.Bonus:The lights are LED. Why not make the light brightness adjustable like the fan is?Fix those two things and you have a great fan!

Nice and quiet!
I installed this fan on Easter weekend and we are now approaching Christmas. My main concern in choosing a fan was the potential noise because I prefer a silent room to sleep in. This fan is great. There is obviously air noise if it's turned up high, but lowering it at night keeps the air moving enough to feel it and reduces the noise significantly. Every now and then there is a clicking that happens that is caused from the wires for the light hitting the blades. I just need to open it up and secure them out of the way which I haven't done. The light isn't super bright so beware if you are wanting that. I am a little concerned about how to replace the donut looking light bulb when it's time, but not enough to research it yet. The installation was easy peasy once I replaced the electrical box to be fan supported (replacing the box is a different story.....check into that before you tear things apart!) I would recommend this fan to anyone!

Love the fan, but it's easy to lose the remote
This fan is very stylish and looks great, but the sleek remote is easy to lose. If you need a replacement, it is: Transmitter and Cradle - K626606000. As per the Hunter Rep, this fan has its receiver built in so you only need the Transmitte (remote).

Ugliest and worst fan I’ve ever bought
I expected a hunter fan would be a quality buy but that’s not the case. I bought two of these for two guest rooms. The ceiling heights in the rooms are 8’ and the rooms are smaller so I was looking for a smaller low profile fan. Yep, hunter hit those two requirements and that’s where it stopped.First, every fan blade or the motor wobbles. Tried to adjust each blade and nothing works.Second, before buying look at the motor base measurements. It’s enormous and something I didn’t even consider until I had them hung. No joke they look like freshly cut tree stumps.Third, the black remotes have two buttons. Light on or off and fan. No adjustment for brightness. And the black remote when mounted next to a white light switch looks like garbage.I wish I could return these but I missed the return window. bought during a remodel and they say for over a month before I installed them.Complete waste of $200 x2.Already ordered two new fans to replace these

Satisfactory
Installing a ceiling fan is never really fun, and this one was no exception. But it had the important feature of being able to hang the fan at an angle while hooking up the wiring, and that removed a major headache of some other installations, where you would need a partner to help. Once installed, this worked perfectly. It's quiet. It's not super powerful -- with three blades you wouldn't expect that -- but it definitely gets the air moving and cools off the room. We particularly liked the remote. It's small and easy. The light on the fan is plenty bright for cleaning up the room. Light is not dimmable but fan speed is variable. All in all, a satisfactory purchase. Had it for three months now and no problems.

I expected a bit more from Hunter .... especially the things that are easy to do better....
I recently installed the Hunter fan and a few things struck me that I figured would help others if they are looking to purchase. First, I am a like Hunter fans so it is the brand I tend to start with when shopping. This one was for a smaller room with a lower ceiling. It fits well into the room and the size is good, etc. Fan is quiet and pretty easy to install (keep reading). The LED light kit isn't great. The brightness of the LEDs are ok but there aren't enough LEDs to really light the room (even a smaller one). Colors are a little strange (yes I know how to change that with the remote). My biggest WTF disappointment with the install was the screws/hardware provided seemed cheap and bad. The screws intended for stud/structure install are garbage - plan to use your own if that is your mounting method. The heads stripped easily and Hunter should know better based on how long they are. All the fasteners seemed poor. The light kit seems a little crude. I would replace it with something else if I could easily. It moves air well. Would likely not recommend to others.

Quiet and breezy
The fan is quiet enough to watch TV while it's going and creates a nice breeze. The light works well and can be dimmed which is helpful

The fan is impressive!
The fan is impressive, and as a Mechanical Engineeer wants to provide my version on the pros and cons. The pros:- The reliable, highly respected by customers, the HUNTER brand;- Low profile, modern and sleek design by the US engineers (pros), but manufactured in China (cons);- Price is attractive (I bought by promotion, the Amazon adjusted all my three purshased fans to the promotion price), the competitors are more expensive;- Reversible rotation by pressing the button (more than 3s on fan logo) on the remote control;- Reversible blades. One colour from the one side of the blades and another colour (depends on model) from the backside of blades;- Three speeds, easily changeable by the remote control;- The remote control isn't bulky and have the right small size;- The beep option (can be swithched off) can be helpful for seniors to confirm switch off/on fan/light, reduce&increase speeds/reverse rotation etc.;- The LED lamp is amazing, it was designed specifically by the Hunter engineers. As a result it's a high quality, fits very well, and it's dimmable. But in the case of replacement, you have to buy/find from the Hunter company (cons);- The light/fan can be switched on/off from your wall switch/or your remote control;- Th fan is silent, no any noise at third speed;- Easy installation, easy manual (as per my point of view). The cons:- The packing is the biggest issue. during the shipping the rotation drum/electric motor wasn't properly fixed/packed. As a result of shaking unproper shippment, the rotation drum/electric motor are getting missligned (I think bearing missalignment). Many customers are considering mistakenly this particular issue as a wobbling (it a cause of the main issue). The balance kit can't fix this problem and it can be dangerous due a motor overheating, increasing wobbling effect and potential crush, fire etc. Also, I believe the extra inspection in the Chinese factory is required to check a proper allignment/rotations before the shipments;- Three speeds are very good, but I want to see the same model with more speeds;- As I mentioned, this fan is manufactured in China, and my recomendations to check everything very carefully before installation;- In the case of LED lamp malfunction/replacement, you have to buy it from the Hunter Company. So, overall my rating on this fan is 4.7-4.8 out of 5. Recommend it.

Luz amarilla

Love it!!
The media could not be loaded. I honestly don’t know what everyone is on about. Folks saying the light is to bright / dim, or the remote beeps, or that it’s to noisy, or that it wobbles… the instructions explain how to adjust / correct all of these issues with the remote. That said, it did take a while to sort out the balancing and it still has a sight shimmy at the highest fan speed but it’s barely noticeable. And yeah, the remote needs to be reasonably close to the fan for it to work. Anything more than 8 feet away and it doesn’t work. But it’s a fan meant for a small space so the remote makes complete sense. And for the person that rate 1 star because “it’s heavy”, are you kidding me? Of course it’s heavy. It’s a great fan. Elegant styling, easy to install, and simple to use. Highly recommend. In fact, I might buy another one for a 2nd small bedroom. I tried to show the light dimming using the remote but it doesn’t come through very well in the video. Let me assure you, the remote works perfectly. After installation there can be a slight smell of burning plastic and the motor housing becomes warm to the touch. I spoke with Hunter customer service and they assured me the smell will dissipate and that the warmth is normal for an AC motor. That’s good enough for me!!

The main body of the fan is bigger than expected
It is a nice color, good size and easy to install. A feature that is not mentioned is the feedback "beeps" on the fan for when the remote is used at each function, this can be turned off as well. Noise level of the motor itself at the slowest speed has a slight hum, otherwise a good unit.
