The Helenvita Acnormal Cleansing gel is a great quality cleanser for blemish-prone skins. I find most products that contain salicylic acid far too abrasive for my sensitive skin despite it being a good ingredient for problem skins. The Helenvita cleansing gel is different. It is very gentle yet cleanses my skin well without stinging or causing dryness.The cleansing gel is SLS and paraben-free. Instructions in both English and Greek are printed on the box.The bottle comes with a pump that works well enough but gets stuck a little.This is a really good quality cleansing gel and well priced at £12 for 200ml. Recommended.

I have always had skin on the drier side but in the last few years have started to get oilier skin around my T-zone which has led to break-outs. I have tried a variety of cleansers and toners over the last few years which have had limited amounts of success fine until the last couple of months when my skin decided it no longer liked them! I find this to be the case with many washes, that they last only periodically.With this product, so far my skin looks visibly clearer and my pores have gone from very very enlarged oil filled holes to basically invisible. My face looks brighter and healthier which I did not expect and I've had a few comments from family that my skin is looking well.I would definitely recommend the gel but as with all cleansers, take your time and check that your skin is compatible. I really like foaming cleansers - you always seem to get a lot of foam per single pump, and this is no exception.I do use soap, but only certain soaps (nothing mainstream), and I like to use foaming cleansers when I want a particularly in-depth clean - I tend to use them with a muslin cloth.This is a lovely example of the type, and it feels exactly as I'd expect. I do wish this had been available when I was younger. I'm now in my 60s but I still get a spot or two. I don't tend to use acne and blackhead creams or lotions anymore but when I did my skin got awfully dry, and I don't think they did all that much good. I'd much rather use something like this that cleans and moisturises in one. I like that it's 'sebum regulating' because I still have a bit of an oily T area, though nothing as bad as in my teens. The scent is lovely and fresh. I can smell the aloe vera, but there's something else, a bit more 'medical' which I think may be lavender but it isn't at all overpowering. It reminds me of the shaving soap my granddad used back in the day.The foam is soft, creamy and doesn't leave my face feeling tight or dry which is great, the cleanser is a liquid when it's in the bottle - it looks a little like 'bubble liquid' you buy for children and doesn't become a foam until it's aerated by the pump - clever stuff. I like that the ingredient list isn't too long - I always feel that products with a long list of ingredients are more harsh - I have no scientific reason for thinking this, it just seems that way to me.At £11.90 for 150ml (as at 25 November 2023) I think this is good value it's certainly in the range that I spend on a cleanser like this and it will last me ages. Would recommend and definitely worth a try.

Leaves skin feeling soft and smooth after first use.The gel lathers really well so a little goes a long way.It hasn’t caused any irritation for sensitive skin.Amazing cleanser and decent price.

As someone who has oily skin, which in turn causes dreaded breakouts of spots I'm always on the search for good quality facial cleansers. I hadn't heard of this brand before and I was surprised about how vast of a product range it had including baby products, cleansing gels and moisturisers. The packaging it comes in gives it a premium look and provides plenty of information.I have used many similar products over the years, including some big named brands, with varying degrees of success. This one is certainly one of the best I've used and a little goes a long way and foams up nicely. One pump of the bottle is enough to cleanse my whole face. It is very gentle on my skin and leaves it feeling fresh and hydrated and certainly helped with reducing the amount of spots I get. It also works really well with my silicone scrubber and on other parts of body which are prone to spots.I will definitely be buying this product again, although the large sized bottle will last me for quite some time, but it also gives me confidence in the brand so I will also be looking at their other products.

This cleanser is great. The pump is good quality and dispenses a thick and generous amount of foam. The scent is very mild.The cleanser itself is very gentle. I used it after shaving when my face was very irritated, and typically any product I apply at this point would sting a little. However, when using this cleanser, it was so gentle I felt nothing which was amazing!The cleanser is really effective. The foam means it's instantly lathered, and it leaves my face super refreshed and clear.Overall, really happy with this cleanser and the great results I get from it!

I love washing my face with a foaming cleanser every morning, so I was eager to try this. One pump goes along way and foams up nicely, the scent is mild but pleasant, and it leaves my skin feeling clean and soft. I have sensitive skin and have had no reaction to this, so would definitely recommend.The only reason I have given it four stars is that I think it is slightly overpriced!
