Gave 4 stars because one handle was not attached. Otherwise the shakers are great. These are an addition to two I already have. I love the amount of holes in the top and the size of the base. They clean very easily. I use ribbon tied to the handles to indicate the contents.

I ordered two packages. One of the handles came off, but I didn't have time to return them or I would have. I did not need the last one with the broken handle. The others were great.

I bought these for applying my homemade rubs when I smoke meats. They are FANTASTIC! I get good, even coverage. Warning: make sure the lid is on straight before tightening. One got past me and I couldn't get it open again and had to throw it away. Happy grilling and smoking!

These are very well made and the perfect size for use in the kitchen or where a powder substance is to be distributed by shaken application - like powdered sugar on pancakes or cookies, cinnamon/sugar on toast or cookies, etc.I bought these to put diatomaceous earth (DE) around the indoor and outdoor areas of my house to manage unwanted insect tenants... worked well.
