Tribute to a remarkable man
I’ve read a number of viewpoints on the Jodi Arias case, and it was refreshing to read this perspective from people who really knew Travis. It is sad (and difficult to understand) why much of what is written here was not allowed at trial, given that the defense did everything they could to slander Travis. There is simply no evidence that corroborates the notion that he was a violent man or a man given to anger or pedophilia. This book finishes the picture and ends with testimonials that are awe-inspiring and heart-warming.

Thank you Chris and Sky Hughes for an amazing beautiful story about a wonderful man - TRAVIS ALEXANDER!!!
Thank you Chris and Sky for such a wonderful book telling us about what a wonderful man Travis was. I loved the details given about who Travis was and how deeply he was loved. I knew from the moment I heard about the evil that had been done to such a good man, there was no way it was self-defense. It is just plainly common sense. I found out about this case involving Travis Alexander thru a friend that I went to high school with and naturally lost touch with her after we graduated in the year 2000 from high school. She became my friend on facebook and when I saw that she was a supporter of Jodi Arias and that she even would video chat with her, I was in shock and disgust by her. I could not believe it. I asked her about it and when I saw how naive and blind she was, I immediately removed her from my Facebook and blocked her. I just could not believe it. I have never felt so strongly about any case then the way I do for Travis's. And that is because I felt like I grew to know him and appreciate and admire a person such as himself. Sky, when you mention about forgiveness and that that is what Travis would have wanted from all of us to have towards others, I think that is the thing I respect so much about him, his love and respect for God and how we should walk the way Jesus would have walked and if Jesus forgave all our sins than we should be able to forgive others and leave the rest up to justice and God to handle. I actually pray for Jodi at times and pray that one day she comes to feel real remorse and shows it with actions that everyone will see by her admitting that everything she said about Travis was a lie. But if that day never comes for her, than so be it. God will deal with her in the after life. The important thing to know is that Travis is in his permanent most beautiful home, heaven, and eventually all of our time will be up as well. No one knows how or when, but one thing I know, is that you will see Travis again. I have come to love you all very much and admire the strength that you have endured throughout all this time. This has definitely been a tribulation that has just made you all so close to him much stronger and has changed the lives of people that never knew Travis personally. On the day that Jodi was sentenced, my good deed for that day to do in honor of Travis, was to take my uncle out for my aunt's birthday that had passed away from lung cancer and her birthday just so happened to fall on the day that Jodi was sentenced to LWOP. I spent almost $200 on him, which I was very happy to do, because I knew I was doing good for my uncle that was all alone and in mourning even after 3 years of my aunt being gone. And I know that Travis would have liked to see that. So thank you so much for being such an inspiration and sharing what an amazing person Travis was and remains on being by living amongst all the good that is done in his name. God bless!

Beautiful Brilliance
This book beyond exceeded what I was expecting. I first 'met' Travis Alexander when his killer was tried for his murder. I feel I've come to know a lot about Travis over the past few years. This book filled in a lot that I didn't know. This is Travis's story. I experienced every human emotion throughout it. Travis was not infallible; he was not perfect. However, he was a remarkable and compassionate human being. He overcame extreme childhood trauma. He then turned that stumbling block into a HUGE stepping stone at many a turn throughout his all too short life. He triumphed in situations many would fail only because of his sheer willpower and faith: not just faith in God, but faith in himself. He took it a step further by empowering other people from all walks of life to build up their self confidence and faith in themselves. To me, that's the real core of Travis: he could've just focused on himself and his success, but that wasn't Travis. He thrived on using his positive outcome to teach everyone how to share in his emotional and physical wealth. As we learn in this book, he could not be happy unless he was sharing with someone else; sharing whatever he could give them to help them. I knew from the trial and beyond that the world lost a truly inspirational man with his death. What I never could understand was the sheer DEPTH of how much we lost. I couldn't have fathomed the immensity of it until I read this book. I literally cried when I finished it. I didn't want it to end; I didn't want Travis himself to end. Through the Hughes sharing their knowledge of Travis with us in this book, it's allowed Travis to influence my life in a hugely positive way. Through this book, Travis lives on. He is able to continue teaching his kindness, compassion, positivity and faith in the human spirit through it. Clearly, I can't say enough positive things about the book.I am thankful to the Hughes and all involved for sharing Travis story with us. It's a story that will empower anyone that reads it to have faith in themselves. There are many stories from all kinds of Travis's friends and acquaintances shared in their own words in the book, along with pictures. That was a sweet touch, providing a look at how Travis helped people in all manners. Sky did a phenomenal job throughout the book. Through her words, Travis lives again forever. Chris shares a lot himself towards the latter part of the book. After learning through Chris about Travis's core faith and empowerment beliefs, I learned how to apply much of it to my own life in a positive way. I've since recommended this book to countless others. By reading it, we learn how to positively influence our own lives. By sharing that knowledge, we in turn positively influence others lives. With that cycle, we are all better people and Travis lives on in each of us.

Interesting,heart breaking.
Travis sounded like a fantastic guy and it’s so clear how loved he was by his very many friends. I marked it at 4 stars as I didn’t like the Religious stuff and skipped it I’m afraid but I’m glad I bought it as it’s pretty interesting to learn just what an absolute nut case Jodi was, right from day one. If only Travis had seen her for what she was far sooner. A tragic story, I’m just glad she’s where she belongs.

Wow. I love this book.
Thank you to the authors. Now I know Travis much better. I feel I've missed out on not being his friend. I'm delighted justice was done and Travis is now in heaven. This book has moved me in many ways. I am now also looking into wanting to know more on Mormons and am interested in their spiritual life.

Best insight
Having followed some of the media on the arias trial, I sadly believed some of the slurs about Travis Alexander. This book has shown the truth of the entire situation, without painting Travis as perfect. He was very much the victim. She didn't just destroy him violently by murdering him, she attempted to continue destroying him after his death. Her actions during and after her time with him completely floored me, had to reread a few pages as to try and get my head around what I was reading as it was so bizarre! Very eye opening.
