Changed all my old Trendnet cameras for these as wanted black cameras that were less obvious. The quality if fantastic and they work seamlessly with Synology Surveillance Station. Very pleased. So easy to setup also.

Lots of 4K cameras can be a pain, or only work with their brand of NVR. This works on ALL recording & viewing platforms/ apps using onvif settings.Crisp & clear images day or night.Highly recommended

Not bad quality for the price. Barrel distortion but that is standard with a wide lense. Motion sensing in excellent and you can record to an SD card on board or to FTP. and you can upload regular still images to FTP if you need. Tech support are good as well if you do have any tech questions. 4K is restricted to 15Fps if I remember correctly. Works with BlueIris and I am sure most other DVRs. Might see if they have a varifocal version to try out. doesn't come with a pole mount just wall mount.

The actual camera is fine, but I find the view is too wide. The view from a standard 1080p camera fine, I was hoping to get a higher resolution image from a 4k camera, but instead simply got a wider image. Unless the intruder is less than 20ft, you would have difficulty recognising them. Day vision is good, but night vision is too noisy and fuzzy to get any identification of an intruder. The night resolution is no better than a 1080p camera.Be aware you need a PoE switch to power it, although you can use an external 12V supply, and a SD card. There is no indication that it is powered, although there is a green led on the front which never comes on.The software on the other hand is very comprehensive, but after 3 days trying, I was unable to set the camera to store video from the result of a movement detection. Recording of events was haphazard. At one point, I got it to record events at night time, but it stopped when it got light. After resetting the camera and reinstalling the software, all I could achieve was a continuous recording in 8 minute chunks all day and night.I ran out of patience and time to get this camera making simple motion detect recordings and reluctantly returned it for refund.I did contact the manufacturer with a number of questions. They replied with a set of new questions and suggested I phoned the support team in America. There doesn't appear to be any UK support.

Camera is ok - but I upgraded the firmware and nw it doesn't work with the cloud software. what a waste of money.
