Domino Sugar, Granulated, 4LB Canister

Four pounds of sugar seem like a lot, and they are! The larger size will last much longer between replenishments than smaller sizes, however. The lid makes a good seal which helps to keep out moisture (and those pesky ants!).Also of note is the container itself. It is reusable and will last a long time. This is the first plastic, four-pound Domino Sugar container I have had to purchase in about two years or so due to its size and ability to be refilled.The single drawback to this container is the lid. After a couple hundred (at least, possibly more) removals and reseals, the side of the lid begins to wear out and tear apart, which prevents a good seal when the side separates. The lid is definitely made from a different kind of plastic than the container. This makes the lid more flexible but also leads to its eventual failure. A different kind of plastic, possibly a higher-impact plastic, might solve, or at least diminish, this problem.In the meantime, if you (Domino) can offer the option of purchasing a replacement lid, this would allow me to continue using the container itself to refill with Domino sugar when needed, as the container itself is made of durable plastic which will last for quite some time. The container is, of course, recyclable.The container is a bright yellow, which serves to brighten up the kitchen. There is never any doubt as to the contents!

I love these sugar tubs because they are so much easier to scoop/measure out of than a sugar bag. Easy close lid too!

It’s white sugar and I like it

Domino Sugar is the best. I love the fact it is cane sugar & not beet sugar. There's a difference in the taste. I don't have to use as much Domino sugar as other brands. It tastes sweeter. People could not believe I lost nearly 100 lbs. using this & whole milk in a hot cup of tea. The thing is Moderation. I abstained from all sweets & added sugar except for my cup of tea. No one messes with my morning Cuppa! lol

Have used Domino Sugar and their products all my life. This beats out other brands because it doesn’t have lumps, not dusty like other brands. It’s best for cooking, coffee, and tea. Nothing compares to Domino’s goodness!
