Light Switch Labels - Transparent Switch Identifier System for Organizing Your Home and Office

Bought for my new house. Easy to use and made it easier to remember which switch turns on each light.

We just moved into a new home. I couldn't stand my wife and son going through all the light switches in the house to turn on a light in the living room or dining area. By adding these labels, it has reduced unnecessary flicking of light switches inside the house. I was initially thinking about using Brother P-touch label maker to make the labels but my wife and son objected. It's good thing I found this product on Amazon. They did not complain about the look upon installation because they look so professional and clean!

We moved to a new home and in one room we have 8 switches on one wall and 4 on another. My husband put sticky notes for each but of course that looked awful. I saw similar labels to these while staying in an AirBNB and wanted them. They’re somewhat difficult to peel off and difficult to get level and centered over the switches. I did try to use tweezers but that was difficult too. Also I had to cut and combine a couple and that was hard to do. I used all of the ones that said FAN. I’m not sure why there were so many NORTH SOUTH EAST WEST ones and not more FAN ones. However they’ve stayed on so far and I haven’t seen any peeling up. I do think these are somewhat overpriced since they have some that aren’t particularly useful, but they definitely look better than sticky notes!

I had a few light switches in my house that were confusing to people and often were accidently turned off or something. These are very helpful to label things. I think it would be a good idea as well if you moved into a new place (Especially with kids) you could even use these for a few months and then just peel them off.

These worked for the most part. I bought them knowing the price was outrageous for what you get, but I couldn't find anyone else selling text label stickers on Amazon, which seems crazy. They're thin and mostly clear (see point 3 below) and will serve their purpose.Here are the issues I had:1) They did not peel from the backing well. Several pulled the paper with them so there was no way to use the sticker.2) They were not cut well, meaning they would not separate well from adjacent stickers when you tried to remove them.3) Despite washing my hands before handling and using tweezers, there was still dirt on the edges, indicating that the sticker sheet was already dusty before I pulled it out of its sleeve. I'd give it a light wipe-down before using.4) I struggled to get these level and centered over the light switches. I'd recommend using two sets of tweezers instead of one like I did.5) I thought I verified a label for every switch I'd need before ordering, but there is no "disposer" label for the kitchen sink. I'm shocked that out of 176 spaces, they couldn't make room for at least one for a disposer, especially since that's the kind of switch you really want to label.
