Requires blue thread locker to stay set
The threads are VERY loose, both in the ball-ends AND the lock nuts. MUST use blue thread locker (e.g. Loctite) for them to stay at set length. Too, the hollow balls are awfully loose in their ball-ends, but that does not seem to be a problem (yet). So far, with the blue thread locker, they seem to work ... I only wish that the threaded rods were just a bit longer so more thread would go into the ball-ends to be more secure — I'd rather have more thread and cut to length than too short where they screw into the ball-ends.

Rear turnbuckles broke/bent in 5 runs
Bought to replace stock plastics on my Stampede 2wd, because I lost a screw for a turnbuckle and figured these would be a good upgrade. I was wrong! 5 runs and both rears bent or snapped, had to reinstall the factory rear plastics... These are not strong enough to withstand hard jumps when installed on the rear, because the turnbuckle shafts must be extended so far, that they lose all their strength. If used as fronts, they seem fine since they are shorter and retain strength, but I would not recommend using these for more than just driving around on a flat surface. I wouldn't buy these again, waste of 40 bucks in my opinion.

Quality product yet missed the mark
These turnbuckles look nice. However, they are difficult to set and tighten to any certain length unless you loctite them. I used them for a couple days on a recent RC build, but after driving the rc car, the turnbuckles would vibrate and the setting would loosen. Therefore I would have to re set the length and go thru that several times. Finally I ended up returning them because they just didn't stay where I wanted them to.

NOT AS DURABLE AS ADVERTISED AND CONSTANTLY COME UNSCREWED...
The first set I had two sheer off right at the knuckle. The front 2 don’t extend long enough to get the front wheels lined up perfectly parallel unless they’re just barely threaded on which causes them to constantly come unscrewed no matter how tight I tighten the keeper nuts... I also ended up having to cut down the smaller one alittle that connects to the servo saver otherwise there was no way I was going to get the front tires lined up... Yeah the look cool but they aren’t much of an upgrade in my opinion...

Loose fitting ball ends
I found there was too much play in the ball ends. I'll be changing to either stock Traxxas or performance Traxxas replacements.

Absolute Garbage!
The threads pull right out and are junk. They lasted less than 5 min using indoors. Absolute garbage!!

Nice parts but came missing pieces
I think the product is great except one of the two packages I ordered seamed to have been opened and was missing one of the middle parts. I’d love it if someone contacted me and sent me the parts that are missing.

On the fence
Front steering linkage not long enough. The main steering tie rod from servo to steering is to long won’t work they have held up daily well on my traxxas slash
