Great price, great product, great service, easy assembly; can't ask for more
Excellent quality for the price; rock-solid and great looking. Went together easily with only the slightest pause to double-check part orientations and fittings before attaching, which anyone should do anyway*. I ordered 2 sets of 2, so by the 4th stool I could put it together in my sleep. The only very minor glitch (and "glitch" is overstating it) is that one cross support required very minor filing to fit properly, which took about a minute. Bonus is that they matched almost perfectly with the table I bought them for, from a completely different manufacturer and online store. For the price of less than 2 similar stools from higher-priced mfr's, we have a set of 4 that should last for many years.* I'd agree with some others that most of the assembly complaints seem to be due to "user error", rather than mfr error, except missing parts complaints. I actually had a few extra pieces of hardware, as I believe others did as well.Another bonus: this was out of stock everywhere except Amazon; not only did Amazon have the second lowest price (the lower price was less than a dollar lower), but they were delivered 2 days earlier than originally estimated.Very happy with this purchase.

2YR Follow Up. TIPS! Requires basic knowledge of tools and ability to follow instructions to the T.
I noticed a few people called these “defective” and “cheap.” You will note that a few who did so exchanged them, then realized they had been putting them together wrong. I would disregard most one star reviews who claim these are defective. This is one of the highest quality set of chairs I have ever put together, it is machined well and comes with extra hardware. It's not made in China! But I would say the level of difficulty for assembly is probably a 7 or 8 vs the average chair. This is totally subjective, but you will note most 1 star reviews are based on problems with assembly. On that note, a few assembly tips- I dry fit all pieces, then glue all wood and Loctite all bolts when putting these together.I ensure that the backrest and seat fit well- this joint takes most of the stress. Then torque all bolts until the lock washer is just flattened. Any more and you run the risk of cracking the wood. Only then do I move on to the next piece. There are 5 unique lateral support pieces, that each only go one way. This is both more complicated than most chairs I've seen, and not really as hard as it looks if you have the patience. If you've had a few pots of coffee, the probability for success goes down. I could explain it, but in the time it takes to explain, most well balanced individuals will have figured it out. The other's will have left a one star review calling the set defective. The screws need to be seated well- a screw gun will make this part a whole lot easier. Since I glued mine together, I wanted the screws tight, but not over tightened. If you have wood clamps, a tie down strap, or even a second set of hands, you will want to hold the joints tight while you screw them together. These screws go in at an angle, so as you screw them in they won't tighten the joint. If you want all the supports to fit nice and tight, you will have to hold them in that position, then screw them together. All in all, I was pleasantly surprised at the quality.************* 2 Year Follow Up*******************We purchased these for a rental, and they’ve held up to use well. I’ve not needed to repair or tighten them in any way.

Solid!
I was looking for something without padding as my cat likes to tear them up. These are actually very solid and made a nice addition to our island. Very sturdy and easy to put together. Nice dark almost cherry finish. The only thing I don't like about them is the back isn't super comfortable for sitting long periods of time. We like to sit and play cards up to the bar. These work very well for extra guests and we use them for our extra bar stools, not every day.

Love the counter height chairs. Very good quality. Very sturdy.
Very good quality. They are very solid and match perfect with my kitchen table. Bought 2 sets. First chair was a little difficult and I switched part’s between the 2 and all was good. After the assembly of the 2 the other 2 only took me 1 hour. Going to buy another set of 2. 👍🏻😊

Read the reviews! nice chairs but hard to assemble
I bought 3 sets of the 29" chairs. They look very nice, and, once put together, seem rather sturdy. However, like other reviewers have pointed out, they are NOT easy to assemble. After reading other reviews and using the first chair as trial and error, here is my process:1. Attach seat to back and rather down until the bolts are hand tightened.2. Dry fit the cross pieces and legs. They are not labeled with letters but can really only be assembled one way, and to figure that out, you just need to put them in the holes and test them. The angles really help you figure it out.3. Use wood glue on dowels and assemble one side. Assemble the other side and include the non-angled horizontal cross piece.4. Tighten legs.5. I drilled pilot holes because I was worried screwing into the legs without a pilot hole would crack the legs.6. I also ditched the drywall screws and used 1 1/4" Kreg pocket hole screws (as suggested by one reviewer) and a second pair of hands to apply downward pressure on the leg to ensure tight joints. Drill slowly to not damage or crack the wood. I highly recommend using these screws. In fact, unless it it a square or star head screw, I wouldnt use them. Phillips gets stripped too often, and drywall screws are just terrible.7. In the end, the chairs came out decent, though on some, no matter how much we tried to make it tight, there were some tiny gaps between cross pool piece and leg. Not a big deal though. All in all, about 30 minutes per chair. I will update if there are any issues in the future.

Great quality!
Great value. Very good quality and sturdy pieces. Kinda a pain to assemble but once you have one down, the rest are much easier! Highly recommend.

Good chairs in comparison to others out there but, one of the rungs they sent were not correct
I got 3 sets of 2 for my tiki bar and did a lot of research before purchasing them. They were the best deal out there that I could find including Wayfair. Anyway, not too bad to assemble BUT! They sent an incorrect rung for the front of one of them I am just going to have that chair be one that is lightly used. All in all, I would get again.
