Versatile beeswax
I really like the beeswax bars. I feel I’m getting a better value than the beeswax pellets. First of all, I made some spoon butter for my wooden utensils, and as it turns out, this stuff is a great protectant for my hands! The fragrance smells a bit like bee propolis, which is not entirely pleasant, but that doesn’t bother me. I plan to make some more and add a bit more beeswax to the mixture and add a touch of essential or fragrance oil, probably something with a fresh fragrance to blend with the beeswax fragrance. I highly recommend!!

I like it but I'm not totally sure about the authenticity.
Beeswax is one of the topmost adulterated or outright faked products on the market, so I am never sure when I buy in this price point if I'm getting the real thing. I'm not certain about this brand as to whether it's the real deal or I'm just getting fooled by the smell and the melting point. You'll have to decide. The bars smell like beeswax, they melt and harden like beeswax. But they are a much brighter yellow than any beeswax I have bought from local farmer's markets. The whole bar, when held in the hand, feels a bit plasticky on the outside. Not sure what that means. I'm cautiously optimistic and using these for now, but I'm not 100% sure that it's 100% beeswax. I would feel better if the product listing and packaging gave details as to the source of the beeswax and its production methods.

Works as expected
The box contains 8 bars of beeswax. Used it on the runners of the crosscut sled I just built for my table saw. The runners fit the miter slots with virtually zero tolerance. Applying the beeswax makes the sled slide like a greased pig on satin sheets.

Perfect for natural leather crafting.
I use this on the seams of my work boots to waterproof them and make the threads less likely to fray. This is the real deal as far as I a aware. Smells right, but has way less of a smell than I am used to. I actually love the smell of real fresh beeswax. I do like the product but I may look for a less refined sample next time.

Good craftsman/finishing wax... not so good for cosmetics
TL;DR: Great mid-grade beeswax but lacks the smell and pliability of high-grade wax.I own a fair amount of beeswax for numerous crafting purposes and this one falls between low quality and high-quality wax. My low-quality wax (from a leather supply store) is great for edge finishing but really lacks that smell and color of beeswax (shown as the dark yellow top block). My locally sourced beeswax that I use in my higher quality work and sealing jobs has a muted yellow color, a wonderful smell, melts easily, and would be great in cosmetics and other applications (bottom block). This beeswax falls between the two (as is shown in the picture). It has a lovely color and mine was filtered nicely, but it lacks the beeswax smell the high-quality block does but has more honey smell than the low-quality wax. It is very brittle in comparison to both. Ultimately for almost half a pound at ~$8.00 it is a good choice for having an easier to use finishing wax that would also be good in candles, but I'm not so sure about cosmetics. While being filtered and possibly cosmetic grade, I don't recommend it for that application. But as a way to get great finishing wax, yeah this product is great.
