What an amazing man!
I love James Arthur, if truth be told I'm slightly obsessed by him. I have his music on all the time and it really helps me through tough days. I myself suffer with my mental health and after reading his book I feel an even deeper respect and admiration for him. I sat for hours reading it, I couldn't put it down. I'd love to read a new book from him now he's on a better path. Great man

Excellent Read
It is such an honest book spoken from the heart. I understand the demons that come and tear you to pieces. The pain of rejection you explained so fully. Your reality was as hard as mine. It's taken ten years for my recovery and I am still mending but in a better place. The tips for keeping sane and handling panic attacks are brilliant. Thanks for being so honest James and choosing not to believe the lies as I am also choosing. My faith in Jesus was my anchor in the storms of depression, panic attacks, and addiction to numb the pain.Keep going James and I will pray for you.

Say it how it is
Well written honest and often hard to believe a young boy can go through all that with little or no help is scarey but a very hard life lesson .Music can heal the soul and it seems it was deep rooted and was his saving grace issues raised in the book are real and often are buried deep people need people to speak out it has its own healing well done for telling your story

Amazing book
Couldn’t put this book down, didn’t want it to end. So well written, James Arthur explains his life so well. He should be very proud of how far he has come and what he has achieved. It also gives a good understanding of how anxiety and depression can affect your life and how it can stop you coping with everyday life, that we all take for granted. Well done James.
