Stalwart 1000 lb. Capacity Mover's Dolly

I previously had the following product: Pro-Series HDMD3018 30-Inch by 18-Inch Movers Dolly Being the nice guy that I am, I borrowed my Pro-Series Mover's Dolly to someone and it was not returned! :-( Came back to Amazon.com to buy another one, but the Pro-Series one was not currently available. Other sites that carry the Pro-Series model, but for a higher price, were also out-of-stock.I started looking for an alternative replacement on Amazon.com and came across this Trademark version. As far as I can tell - they are exactly the same with the exception that the Trademark model doesn't have any stickers on it (the brilliant blue coloring of the Pro-Series on Amazon.com is just the way the picture was taken - the color is really the same for both of them). The other thing that was different is that this model was shipped and sold directly from Amazon.com who boxed the box that it came in (i.e. double-boxed to prevent damage for which there wasn't any)! With Amazon Prime (i.e. free 2-day shipping) - the overall price was a couple bucks less than the Pro-Series from a 3rd party seller and the shipping only took 2 days.So - my review for the Trademark model is the same as the Pro-Series model: "Very nice and durable as compared to other dollies made out of wood. The "blue" part of the dolly is durable\hard plastic or PVC-like material. Underneath the long sides are metal bars which I imagine is how its is able to be rated to have a 1,000 pound capacity."I'm not going to let this one out of my sight! Next time, I'll just give the link to this product to whoever is needing a mover's dolly and they can purchase their own.

This product is great to move large and heavy items without the obstruction of handles. Therefore, making this product a great fit for flexibility in laying down the items.I tied rope at the end to make it easier to move and haul the cart - basically pulling the cart since there isn't a handle.

This is a great cart or dolly. I had renovations and needed a heavy duty dolly to move a 300 lb massage chair. This dolly worked wonders! And it doesn’t scratch my new vinyl floors. The dolly I received came fully assembled and with 4 turnable casters, which is exactly what I wanted. A few reviews mentioned assembly required and with only two turnable casters...I'm really glad mine came as it was and I did not need to go out and buy more casters.Why four stars? The proudct came in a very competent manufacturer's box that had been placed inside an Amazon box...way too much packaging. Also, I found the same unit with another name on it but otherwise identical, at Harbor Freight for less.

Like it but it's a little longer than what we hoped and the height of the black rubber sits just far enough that the crates we are stacking sit at a slight angle. Not the fault of the product but not exactly suiting our needs. Still will use these for another project and they are really heavy duty.

Great product for the price! Super sturdy. We use ours to move an extremely heavy air track and we have had no problems.

This is a very handy dolly but as with all dollies, watch how the weight is distributed. It means 1,000 lbs over the entire dolly. We made the mistake of concentrating the weight in the middle of the short arms which turn out to be the weakest part of the dolly and it snapped like a toothpick.

Okay long story short: it broke under ~400lb table crate.So that 1000lb is a bit misleading. It can probably be used for a 1000 lb, but it has to be on flat surface and with equal weight along the frame, or better yet with little or no weight on short sides of the frame, since metal reinforcement exists only along long side of the frame, not the short side.Otherwise useful dolly, rubber makes it easy to roll unwrapped furniture - makes it stick.However rubber is not permanently attached I seriously doubt that it can hold longer than a year in moving jobs.

Don't think I could have done my move without this guy, save your back and use this with a few big bins.
