I had never used or purchased this particular brand of hand files before. The description the listing gave sounded good but doesn't almost every listing you read on everything out there sound good whether they are or not. Since the price was a lot less than what I had always paid in the pass I went ahead and purchased them. I'm glad I did. I'm impressed with the proper feel when using them. So far they have stood up to every task & job I've put them thru.

I needed a small file set for removing manufacturing forming die burrs from my son’s pinewood derby axles. For the price this set seemed like it would fit the bill and even added a few larger files to my toolbox. It did just that. The small files seemed to work well but I’m unsure how long they’ll last, the seemed to be less effective quickly and I tried to clear the hatches of them regularly with the included wire brush.Overall for the price and the fact they come with a case, I am satisfied. If I had bought them from Harbor Freight, they wouldn't come with a case and not have as nice of handles. So I consider that a win.

Although the case itself is the same generic case that they throw cheap soldering irons in, the files themselves are well made. Even the handles for the files have rubber on them, so they grip really well in the hand. Would recommend.

My son uses these more than me. He said that the labels wore off the handle the first time he used them. Work well enough as files.

Pretty decent! I use them to help get rid of seams on plastic models, a must-have for any scale prepping. The brush included definitely helps when the files get full of plastic. I use the smaller ones more than the big ones, but the carrying case is a huge plus if I need to go anywhere! Or just to store them so I don’t lose them.
