The media could not be loaded.  I jumped at the opportunity to review this... we are big coffee drinkers and primarily use a Keurig gen 2 from a couple years ago. Its a great machine but most of our coffee comes as beans, ground or in non-certified k-cups...This brewer does it all! K-Cup, or Grounds, you can have a cup of coffee in literally 30-60 seconds. The temp is a bit on the cool side (as it starts) so the coffee isn't the strongest. It makes up for this with the quick heating and dispensing time. This coffee maker is able to make a cup of coffee in the time it takes my Keurig to perform its initial warm up.You trade off the Keurig settings and ability to store water but... really that isn't what this machine is for.Its only about 2.5lb and it actually works great for travel. My wife has started taking it to work with her! The whole unit at work is drinking coffee from this machine all day!I will update everyone if it dies but right now its making a ton of coffee per day and everyone is enjoying it.This is the perfect travel coffee maker or morning work cup of coffee. Taking the hassle out of warming up even a Keurig! To think of how far we have come in the last years.... Keurig's were supposed to be the "instant coffee" machines and now this machine even beats those units in operation time.I will say the needle to poke a hole in the K-Cups is a bit weak so you have to put some decent force down on it to puncture the K-Cup if you use it... but other than that I can't think of a single con with this machine. It even has a cleaning mode and comes with detailed instructions on how to use it.If you are looking for a do-it-all simple coffee maker or a travel coffee maker.... look no further. Sleek little coffee maker, starts brewing as soon as you ask him to. I make sure to push pod down into coffeemaker till I hear a pop. Make super great super hot with no warm up time. Fits a Yeti mug no problem. LOVE it. I had the Keurig single brew and I threw it out after second time trying. Coffee tasted like plastic and would only brew 8 oz. this bad boy can go to 14oz. Great product for the price. Paper towels used to show scale .

This is my new, go-to coffee maker. I love the travel mug, especially in comparison to my kuerig. I don’t have to fuss and finagle with the mug to make my morning brew. I’ve tried loose grounds in this machine and k-cups. Both work as expected.

I had purchased one of these in 2017 and it held up for two years before it gave "gave up the ghost". It had a very small footprint in a very small kitchen, so I bought this one. I am not a big coffee drinker, so 1 or 2 cups a day is maximum for me.I know how the unit works as I had one for two years and I am a "read the directions freak". This arrived on December 29th and after cleaning the unit as required, I made my first cup of coffee. On January 4th and on the 8th cup of coffee, it started screaming bloody murder and would not allow the water to drain from the unit. After if cooled, I dumped the water to check for blockages and there were none. So, I refilled the unit and put a new K cup in it.....same problem.I am extremely disappointed with this newer version of the one I bought two years ago and this thing is so going back.

Perfect for house with a solo coffee drinker - but know what when it comes to the pods, don’t skimp. So far I haven’t had any issues - I got a mixed box of different flavored coffee and I can taste the difference in all of them. Wish it had an alarm to let you know it’s done. It also won’t fit larger sized thermoses so I just got a smaller cheapie. Overall, very satisfied and price point is good.

This machine is super fast and makes drinks at a perfect temp. Love it!

This compact coffeemaker is great for travelling if you don't want to drink that "round in a filter flat coffee." It accepts all k cups and comes with a handy ground coffee filter and brewed tea filter.The coffee is HOT too! Actually better than the brand name large coffee maker we have at home.Easy to clean.The water reservoir when filled makes a large travel cup - so pay attention to the water you put into the reservoir if using regular sized mugs.Great product and incredibly fast shipping.

The coffee is brewed rapidly (but not in 30seconds as the blurb stated). I fill the supplied pod with freshly fine ground. The coffee is hot when made, and remains hot for hours in my Contigo mug. Big plus is that the Chefman takes tall mugs. I drink my coffee black. This Chefman model, used with my tall mug, gives the very best brew, mellow, and not too bitter. I recommend this model to others.

UPDATE: I have raised my rating from 1 to 3 stars for this item thanks to the awesome support. Chefman customer support is the best I have ever received from a company over my concerns with their product. I have now gone through 3 of these little machines. Each one I received was progressively worse than the prior one. They are working hard to take notes from my experiences with their product, and to address the issues I have had with this particular unit.Now that I have gone through 3 of these, I decided to take their offer of an alternate bigger machine. All of this has been of no charge to me. Complete and true customer CARE. When they finally improve their Instacoffee machines I will update this review again if they send me one to try out.Great while it lasts. As others have said. I even wasted time making a nice little tray to hold the accessories and mixer for it. Hopefully the company sends me a new one seeing as my return and support window from Amazon have closed.

Best features: it brews a large 14 oz cup size, the base is silicon which will not scratch like metal bases and lots of watts. It brews in about 1 minute 15 secs. It starting making a noise sometimes but so does my daughter's Keureg. It will fit a 7 inch travel mug. The base is about 5 1/2 x 4 1/2 inches. I like it

Took this coffee maker on a trip up north, there was no coffee maker in Our room. I’m an early riser so I would be sitting in my room till 7 am to get a coffee. Took a chance and ordered this compact unit. Space was limited as we were driving a corvette convertible with very little trunks space. I packed it in my soft sided bag and wrapped it with a pair of jeans and it was not damaged bee I g squeezed into the trunk. Now for the coffee part. The coffee was hot and it worked with the plastic style Coffee pod . It heats up fast and I had a nice steaming hot coffee at 5:30 in the morning. There were a few cheaper models out there and I thought this unit itself was a bit pricey but it works like it is supposed to. I think it would be a good coffee make for anyone on their own . Take very little space. Overall I’m happy with it even though I will only be using it on time when no coffee makers are available.
