How well does this filter work compared to a smoke buddy?

I used to have the mega size smoke buddy. The sploofy lasts waaay longer & has replaceable filters at half the size. Works so much better than smoke buddy. Just gotta let it dry out if you've been blowing smoke into it like you're cheech & chong to prolong filter life

Is there any actual proof of this thing reducing the amount of compounds/chemicals excreted from the device after exhale. Nicotine, cannabinoids etc

It's a HEPA filter, so yes, there is scientific proof that it eliminates the stated % down to .03um size of particulates; so anything at all, down to those microns, will be stopped, to that % of accuracy. HEPA is medical-grade; it's in CDC filters. It's stops viruses, which are way smaller than cannabinoids. It should stop any exhaled particulates, if installed correctly. That's always the caveat with any filter.
