Perfect fit and works great on a new body style 1999 chevy silverado

The media could not be loaded.  Easy to install.

Installed in about 30 minutes,works like a charm no more draining the battery!!

It didn't fix my sticking ignition; apparently the sticking piece is deeper in the steering column. That said, the original cylinder was 21 years old, so it made sense to replace it since I already had the part. Easy to install, works just as described for a 2000 Silverado.

It works great, turns smoothly and the key just slides in like butter.

I'm no professional but this was so easy to replace. I disconnected the negative terminal on the battery. Removed the plastic cover from steering wheel. Cut a wire hanger and sick in the release hole at the top of the ignition housing. Turned the Keri as if I was staying car and removed walla. You need to take a flat head screwdriver and sick in ignition to turn until it stops then insert new ignition and walla.I could not turn to accessory work old one and I child pull key out of ignition while running. I did not want that and it did not trip the factory security system.

It has worked good. I'm just waiting to see if it is good for a long time.

Could not rekey it does not have enough pins to rekey to your original key I gave to a friend and went with OEM
