...and thats what I got! Swapped the gas tank in my ol man's CJ7. Not as good or informative as some others I've seen...but it came through for us.

Haynes tried to cover too much in one manual and as a result nothing is very helpful.

When you're starting from no info at all, this is a good addition.

The sections concerning wiring of jeep is not very informing as I have found Haynes Manuals to be very useful and easy to follow step by step instructions very well put together in past. This Particular manual was lacking.

always buy one with new car, or used

I purchased this book at a good price. In fact better than I could find on their competitors site. However, the book itself I found to be incomplete. And for a basic/beginners book I would recommend this one but for a more in-depth how to I would recommend the Technical Service Manual that Amazon sells as well.

Definitely making my jeep maintenance a lot easier.

This book cover too many Jeep models and years. It doesn't provide enough detail and photos for any given model.
