EvolveBoar Styling Brush

Two of the three brushes I ordered were the ones I ordered. The third is close, but different. The two are great. The third is just OK, but not worth the time or effort to return and the reason I gave 4 rather than five stars.

Brush feels good on scalp but each time I brush my hair the brush is full of hairs and there are about 5 bristles on the floor I have to pick up. At this rate there won't be much brush left soon. Poorly made.

I picked this up at Walmart a few years ago because i lost my more expensive boar bristle brush from another store. This was a life saver as i lived in a humid climate that was not frizz friendly. I even tested it against other boar bristle mix type brushes resulting in this one beating the frizz and tangle test. This brush does the same exact thing a more expensive boar brush would for less than half the price. I have fine hair, but i get mats, tangles and frizz. Even with all that to battle, this brush conquers all. Get it. You will be glad you did.

I recently purchased this brush from a local Walmart and have been very pleased with the quality. It's composed of a solid wood handle with 100% boar bristles (medium firmness)....no nylon. It glides through my long tangled hair without pulling or damaging hair and is gentle on the scalp.I would recommend looking around locally for this brush before purchasing online. It was only $2.97 (plus tax) at my local Walmart. Given the price, I was a bit worried that quality might be lacking but I have found quite the opposite. All the bristles seem firmly secured in the wood handle and I haven't seen even one bristle fall out. I expect this brush will hold up for many years to come. Highly recommend!

I picked this brush up on a whim a few years ago. I've tried substituting with other brushes but realized this is perfect. Not so soft that it won't smooth my hair for sleek styles and not so hard that it feels like I'm lacerating my scalp. I do replace it when I feel like its smoothing capabilities has decreased. Overall, this is definitely the brush for me that reminds me of my childhood.
