I will NEVER buy any other brand of knitting needles but Addi! I’m learning to knit in the round for socks and I’ve bought other brands that have a thin wire line connecting the needles and though they’re good for some projects, they’re not great for socks, in my personal opinion. Addi has a lovely line that’s so flexible it doesn’t kink in knitting in the round and smaller working area for socks. Also I discovered I like the longer tapered points, especially for the really fine fingering sock yarn and these needles are perfect in picking up loops. They’ve got a smooth glide I love. I can’t afford to buy a complete set so I’m buying only what I need for each project. Give them a try!

I only use square needles because they don't hurt my hands when knitting. Love the light weight addi cords for 2 at a time knitting!

I have used circular needles since the 70s. They are a necessity it you have cats who I like to play with your knitting!! and if you ever knit it public, at meetings of any sort. You can avoid the embarrassment of dropping a needle 'clannnng' on the floor.

I am an avid sock knitter and these are the perfect needles for socks. The yarn slides effortlessly on them, the joins are smooth and the cord is very flexible. Of all the circulars I've tried, these are my favorites.

I purchased the 100cm 8mm circular knitting needles to knit up a blanket with. I was concerned the wool might snag when I'm teasing/pushing/pulling it along, particularly at the join where needle and wire meet, but that just doesn't happen as the needles are well made and the stitches move smoothly up and down the wire and the needles itself. This is the first time I have purchased Addi needles and would definitely buy them again.
