Very helpful resource!
I've found this book not only relevant, but helpful to highlight high-yield information!

Comprehensive enough
I've bought two of these (one for myself and one for my wife). Definitely amazing if you've been away from medicine for a while. It gets you up to speed on most of the high yield stuff. It is certainly very strong in some areas and also lacks some information in others. My wife and I used this along with Uworld and after a month of studying got scores of 246 and 220.

6th Ed Review - pretty good review but it's just that
This is a review on the most recent (6th) edition of this book. MTB is a very condensed review of everything. If you did well on step 2, or if it's still fresh for you, this book will serve as a good review that briefly touches on most topics. Overall a pretty good book but I felt like there was a lot of basic things missing from each chapter. For example, where it talks about headaches there is no mention of tension headaches. Where it talks about tick borne diseases there is no mention of RMSF, and etc. I also felt like there was a lot of repetition. Repetition isn't bad, but there are several parts that are copied and pasted from other parts. Not a bad review book if you need a brief refresher, but don't count on this book to help you ace the exam.

Fantastic for Step 3
There are a few textbooks out there for the USMLE Step 3. This book surprised me! It has excellent CCS detail in addition to the basic information needed for the multiple choice portion of the exam. I recommend getting the textbook EARLY in the study process to benefit from its guidance fully!

Best investment for Step 2 , 3 and SPEX
I got this book to prepare for the SPEX exam which I had to take for licensure purpose since I did my residency from overseas and the State board wanted me to take this test since they required 36 months of ACGME training in US and I had 24 months after 2 ACGME fellowships in US. I prepared for 2 weeks , there are no specific books on SPEX so I just used this book , I had taken Step 3 10 y ago , this book covers all high yield topics very well and just got my result 2 days ago and I passed the test . SPEX is more difficult than USMLE 3 , that’s what I felt . But thank goodness it’s over.
