100 Bullets: Book Two

The crime drama continues. Now we see that Graves and his Minute men are up against the the Trust. Trust wants full power over everything. A lot of double crosses and power plays. Set up for more things to come. Everyone has there own agenda. People have past they do not remember.

It is a treasure trove that this series has become. The characters are a hallway away and in some stories, come back to continue the narrative or new strand. The dialogue is so compelling you don’t care if it is going anywhere. It does go to a destination, but whether it is tied to another strand is not quite made sure, again it does not matter these characters either cling to the shadows or are very much pawns that draw those around them out into the light as they face each other off, even if completely over match, the scene is so good, one can only be that spectator that should intervene, but... you first, I’ll be right behind you, with the types that exist here. This is worth going over again, just so I can do take in more if only to not gaze like a lost pedestrian.Next one please!

After having received three different copies of this book, all three were found to have the same misprint. I contacted Amazon several times and attempted to contact DC/Vertigo with no result and/or repeated result. Do not purchase until printing error is corrected. Story itself is very good. Without the misprint, the story is one of the best comics/graphic novels in the last 10-20 years. Definitely worth buying once misprint is resolved.

I always find 100 Bullets comic books tell different stories of street life that connected to each other or simply there to show how dark street life can be with it's artful drawing bringing it to life. I really think is one of the best in telling street life story

A crime novel with shady characters, bloody beginnings and dark ending. Very well written at a fast pace making you feel like a detective working out the storylines between the characters
