This starter works great. My mower runs better than when new!

Easy replacement, did not come with mounting nuts and OEN starter has different nuts.You will need 2- M5-0.8 Flange nuts to mount it.Could not use the old starter nuts to mount it, so I only gave it 4 stars.

Replaced cub cadet LT1040 starter. Great fit, easy install, and works great!

I bought it to in stall in my Cub riding mower. The current starter hangs up or spins. Won't start the mower.

I put it in a 2009 Ariens 42" lawn mower with a 18 HP Kohler that sat for a couple of years and it fired it right up

I started murderer fit perfectly with exactly like it while I had which was 25 years old so far it's second day it's still working great can't go wrong for the money y'all have a good day

I specifically bought this one and paid a little extra because it looked a bit more like the OEM part than other models from China that have a plastic cap covering the bendix and spring. Silly me, these are all made in exactly the same factory in China and sold under many different names -- the one that arrived looks like all the other, cheaper models with the plastic cap. So minus one star for using a pic that doesn't match the part, but I popped this into my tractor and it absolutely cranked. Really easy start. And admittedly the plastic cap is not a bad idea to keep dirt from getting into moving parts. Hope it lasts.
