Chinese Scalp Acupuncture

I bought this as a gift for my wife who works in acupuncture, and she was very fascinated by this book. It goes into deep analysis around acupuncture and overall was very informational this book exceeded my expectations and would recommend it to anyone studying acupuncture.

Great photos clearly depicting angle and location of needles. Plenty of case studies which help explain application of points. Well written and easily understood. I was able to apply this knowledge with immediate results (stopped tremors, relieved shoulder pain, low back pain, and more!). Thank you Dr Hao.

This book was very readable and relatively practical. By relatively, I mean that it is not easy under any circumstance to pick up a book about scalp acupuncture and begin to practice on a real patient without at least some instruction. That being said, the book was clear, concise, interesting and useful. Great review of sensory & motor points and their applications with good clinical case histories and examples, including conditions other than stroke that acupuncturists see frequently. It is a good addiction to my clinic library.

I was so inspired by this book that I went to a training weekend with both doctors. Best training I have ever received. Learning how to do the needling was of primary importance. And both Dr. Jason and Dr. Linda were so kind to all of us. No prima donnas here! Just excellent teachers and fine people.

One of the best books written on scalp accupuncture. Diagrams are well done, fully explained. Cases are well presented. I have read four books on scalp accupuncture. This book was the simplest and easy to understand and follow.

I am so fortunate to have came along this marvelous book. I practice acupuncture in Mexico since I am not licenced in the U.S. Started to apply this acupuncture along with a Cranial Sacral therapy and to my surprise, my hemipledgic and paraplegic patients are starting to move their limbs. I sincerely hope other acupuncturists will study this book. We need more of them to be able to do scalp acupuncture. Dr. Hao is amazing! I can personally testify that he helps people with strokes and other neurological problems. Excellent information!

This is probably the definitive book on scalp acupuncture. Just don't accidentally touch the pictures with damp hands, it erases them! So I'd say the printing quality could be better or I'd give it a 5 rating.

This book is user-friendly, in size, print quality, layout and illustrations. The two main sections are the Theory and technique of scalp acupuncture and Common clinical Applications of scalp acupuncture, where protocols for paralysis (including many neurological diseases), pain, aphasia, sense organ disorders, female and male disorders, paediatric, PTSD, Parkinsons, post-concussion syndrome, and more. Research into scalp acupuncture is included too. And my copy from Books for GB came in plastic-free packaging :-)

Bastante ilustrativo, muy practico. Conciso y claro, muy útil para todo acupunturista que desee complementar su practica. Todo acupunturista debe tenerlo.

A must for those who practice beer-acupuncture Dr.Hao is amazing!

I found this book to be very helpful . It is , however limited by the number and type of cases given . I believe it could have been enriched by giving a broader range of problems that can or may be solved using scalp acupuncture .
