XL Nutritional Supplement for Elderly Dogs Over 50 pounds 30ct

18 yr old pit mix granddog. He was staring at walls and corners. Within 3 days he showed a 60% mental improvement. After the two week loading period he was even better, happier, and much more alert. We have continued to use this product for 3 months and are very happy with the results. His vet saw improvement with his cognition as well.The vet said it was a great choice! I highly recommend this product. We will continue to use it. It’s worth it to keep our pup healthier and with us a little longer!

My 13 yr old rescue retriever/setter is showing signs of early dementia, sundowning and just not himself. My Vet prescribed a generic med Of Zoloft, 2-3 weeks in I saw no improvement. This product was suggested by a friend. I took him immediately off the prescription and started this. In 3-4 days I saw a good improvement. If I continue to see better results I will continue this. I put this pill in his food dish, if he takes it out I put back in and he does eat it. So far I’m happy with this and hopefully it continues.

I tried this product after our dog behaviorist/trainer suggested it might help our 9 yr old lab mix's rather listless behavior and blank staring episodes. It's definitely made a change, she's much more alert now, and she seems far more engaged in activities and the normal household. She had stopped playing with her toys, but now she plays with them frequently and enthusiastically, she seems much happier. The only real negative to me is the size of the capsules — for a 55 lb dog these are like horse pills! She won't eat them on her own, I must place them on the back of her tongue and encourage her to swallow, they are too big to use with Pill Pockets. Spreading the contents on her food doesn’t work either.

My older dogs has become more interested and wants to spend more time with us. I would recommend for anyone who has and older dog that seems a little checked out.

Wanted a supplement to keep my 12 1/2 year old’s brain healthy. He’s for the most part extremely coherent except when tired after long day on the go. His holistic vet suggested this. I wasn’t happy about use of red dye and called the co customer service. The rep suggested squeezing the contents on food. I see another reviewer does this due to the pill size. It definitely is a pain in the neck. But given the positive reviews and recommendation by his vet I’m sticking to it til I find something as good and dye free. Sure it’s out there so before having to reorder again, going to start researching a replacement now.

My 13-year-old golden retriever had these red pills suggested by her vet. I put one Senilife XL with her morning cup of dry dog food. She gobbles it down with the rest of her food. She had an episode a few months back where she looked confused and she stumbled rather than walking. I can't remember if that's when the doctor recommended these but I do know that she got better in six days to where she was better than before the episode. She's on several other medicines also, Including gabapentin for pain. It's been months now, and she had only one confused episode since, and that only lasted a couple of hours or so. She's 13 1/2 now and she's doing great.

My 16 year old GSD mix, Rose, seems to thrive with this. She was experiencing panting, anxiety and confusion and this seemed to dissipate it. She’s doing well. I just disguise the pill in a glob of peanut butter and she scarfs it down. I also give her CBD and Fortiflora mixed in pumpkin purée.

I was really hopeful using this. A friend of mine with a senior dog saw results in a week. It’s been two weeks for us and zero changes. Hate that I dropped that much money on them.
