Thrilling Follow Up to Rogue Squadron
Wedge's Gamble is the second book in the wonderful legends series. Following the reintroduction of Rogue Squadron, this book focuses on the squadron's mission to take the world of Coruscant away from the remnants of the Empire. Imperial Director Ysanne Isard has a horrific gift for them. This book was better than the first for me, fewer dog fights, which are harder to follow for me unless onscreen, and more time spent with the squadron members, getting to know them better. We also learn more about Coran and Mirax and their developing relationship. Action, drama, terror and more all make for a great classic story. We are left with a cliffhanger, but I have the next book already. I am so happy that we have unabridged audio productions of 5 books so far. Marc Thompson masterfully handles narration and character voices. I hope the entire series gets unabridged audiobooks it deserves.

Rouge Goes
I would recommend this book and series to Star Wars fans in search of a good story (especially considering what Disney+ has offered us the past few years)A great read that is a solid 2nd installment to the series. I have enjoyed the Rouge Squad Ron series because we are dealing with a smaller cast and a contained story with big implications for the universe. The story felt slow at times but I mostly attribute this to the plot context which blends spy thriller and action. At times i also had difficulty tracking all the characters. While I did recommend this title to Star Wars fan the story is told in a way that anyone can enjoy it .

EU 4 LYFE
Good series in the discontinued Star Wars EU. I like Allston's Wrait Squadron a tiny bit more as it's not quite as dry but this is a good one for the same reasons.

Entire X-Wing series is great
I have read the entire X-Wing series several times and I enjoy it each time. The series starts with Wedge starting a new and improved Rouge Squadron with the best and brightest of the Rebellion. This is the second in the series and it centers of Rogue Squadron infiltrating and take Coruscant from the vicious leader known as "Iceheart," Ysanne Isard, now Emperor in all but name. What they don't know is that they have a spy in their midst who is setting them up for destruction. It is a very enjoyable read with some of the old heroes of the Rebellion and introduces some new heroes that will last throughout the expanded universe series.

Still a good series
This book was pretty well written, I enjoyed reading it for sure. No, it wasn't Shakespeare but it was good fun and some depth was found in some places. Bereavement as many actual dog fights so the confusing descriptions of the battles weren't nearly as prevalent. I will definitely continue to read the series and follow this engaging story.

So I love star wars
So I love star wars and I really enjoy Wedge Antilles and Tycho and all the other day to day troops who kind of fill the background of the movies and only get real attention here. The story is pretty good and has a nice spy gritty feel while not getting too bogged down in the Intel work. I love the X-wing series and although never was cannon it is still a great read
