Used many times
I camp about 5 times per year, usually fairly primitive. This stove is portable enough to take on the canoe trips I do. Maybe a bit too bulky for backpacking, but a handy item for trips where cargo size is not limited. I like it for a couple of reasons. First, it works great. Stuff gets hot fast, and the temperature can be controlled very easily. Second, it's super easy to light. No messing with fuel mixtures, etc. Third, it's very stable. You still need a fairly flat surface, but unlike the Coleman and similar propane type stoves, this one does not get knocked over easily. The fuel canisters are not cheap, but they last quite a long time. One can lasted me three camping trips. I reviewed the fuel canisters as well, and noted that they don't work well in cold weather, due to the fact that the pressure inside the can drops so low that it won't flow through the burner. I'd say about 40 degrees would be the lowest functional temperature. I did try one time keeping the canister in my sleeping bag, and the next morning it worked well enough to cook even though the temperature was in the 30's. The unit itself feels a bit cheap, but it's held up quite well for me. It cleans up easily, and I've never had any problems or breakage.

Nature's Quest Portable Stove
I ordered this stove with a four pack of fuel. The stove as you see it on your PC is light-weight, metal -with a burner knob to turn it high or low, and to light it. It starts something like a snapper on a propane grill. It starts every time, has a nice clean looking, and odor-less flame, and is great for tail-gate meals, any outdoor/indoor, as well as an emergency cooking source. Or even for heat. However, read the warning regarding venting. I like it, and believe it will be even more useful in the near future, so much so -that I ordered a dozen cans of fuel. Which is not all that expensive. I like that. The stove will most likely run for more than a hour on high with a single can of fuel, though I haven't tried it. For camping and all outdoor activities that require a stovetop, this is perfect, and for the price I would add a dozen cans of fuel to have on hand. I would buy one again.JC

All around good stove for one or two car or motorcycle campers.
Just used it for the first time on a 3 day trip to the mountains. It was GREAT. Just perfect for one or two campers. Starts EASILY and is HOT. Maybe too hot. The control didn't seem to go low enough without extinguishing the flame to really do a slow simmer. That, however may have been the fault of my small cast iron skillet. It retains heat very well and other than heating water for coffee and washing up I never used the stove for anything other than frying up potatoes, sausage, eggs, steaks and burgers. If I find otherwise I will update. I still would recommend this stove. I just would not leave it unattended for more than a minute. This stove is also very stable and supports many different sized pans. It is better than any comparable propane or gas stove I know of and which I own. The fuel is log lasting, easy to find and cheaper, especially here on Amazon.

ABSOLUTELY FANTASTIC
This is the best little camping stove out there. I LOVED IT. It was easy to use, easy to store and even easier to light, with the self igniter. It was windy and rainy when i was out camping but my little stove never blew out and kept the boiling water coming. This little stove heats things up very fast. I have bought 2 more of these stoves to keep for emergencies in the house and down the barn. I would recommend anyone to buy this product. This stove is cheap to buy but not cheap in its construction. 5 STARS.

Great little stove!
Used it for the first time camping last weekend, and was very impressed. Very simple to use- make sure you get the 8 oz butane canisters with the notched collar (technically, the canisters we used were 7.8 oz and they worked fine). Was a little hard to get the pan up to temperature in the morning, but it was 40 degrees so I don't fault the stove. Super compact, yet you can be cooking in less than a minute after opening it up.One butane canister allowed us to cook eggs both mornings, warm up small pots of water for hot chocolate both mornings, and make hot dogs for lunch.I would prefer a larger carrying case that would be able to hold a couple of butane cans, but that's a nit.Wish I bought one of these years ago!

Prefect for a road trip!
This summer me and my best friend packed all our stuff into a jetta wagon and went camping down the California coast. My dad had a portable propane grill but it was just too big for our limited storage space, so after doing some research I purchased this and some butane canisters. We made 4 or 5 meals on this thing and only used a can and a half of butane, which was way cheaper than the few nights that we bought firewood and cooked over the fire! It's simple to set up and use and the case is great, the only bummer is the flame isn't very adjustable, but I'm no chef so it wasn't a huge deal for the food we were making.

FANTASTIC!
This is a fantastic product. The fuel canister is easy to install and my stove lit quickly and without a problem. I have always cooked on an open fire on my camping trips so i am excited to give this little guy a try. It is the perfect addition to my camping equipment.UPDATE!!!I just got back from my trip. The stove is AMAZING! You cannot screw it up. The design will not let you put the canister in incorrectly nor will it let you insert the canister if the stove is not in the off position. Also, you cannot turn the cook top over and put it in the case with canister in it (fantastic safety feature!).
