Schylling Doctor's Bag

My grandson has many many toys and he had been wanting a doctor's kit. He had been pretending to be a doctor for a long time using whatever he could find to check everyone over. When I walked in and gave him his kit, you would have thought that I had given him a million dollars. He plays with it constantly. For his birthday, I plan on buying him a doctor's lab coat to go with his kit. I would recommend it to any parent or grandparent. I bought this at Amazon, even though other stores had the same kit.

My daughter loves this doctor kit! It has the perfect number of items to play with and keep track of. I was searching for a doctor kit that came in an actual doctor bag and this was the only one I could find. So it's perfect!

This kit contains all the essential elements to a doctor kit - and they appear to be as safe as possible for children - buuuttt - i guess i wish i'd had gone with a bag that did not have certain "slots" for each item - as a three year old is not wishing to use those slots and the various snaps are inconvenient.But my three year old grand daughter likes it very much and not only does it provide her an opportunity to nurture her dolls (she mimics her babysitter who has a six month old baby...) but also we hope it will inspire her in a professional direction (not specifically to be a doctor - but rather, to know that girls can fill roles other than a mom).

Our son "M" is 5. Since he had been "fixing" our "broken" legs, arms, and heads with race cars we decided he needed a toy medical kit. This is great size & the tools themselves are sturdy. I don't see the case lasting forever... some of the clear plastic that holds the tools in place was already ripped by "M's" sibling "A" (2).The bag is handy, but it isn't sturdy for life-long use. Still, the tools are great, the bag is holding out for now, and our little medic is happy. I would suggest this toy to anyone who is being "fixed" by their child. It would be great for an older (7) child who could be careful with the bag (and didn't have 2yr old siblings).

I got this as a present for a 3 year old and was worried she'd be a little to young for it but she loved it! Went around giving everyone fake shots! Great that every piece has a spot inside the bag and that mess can all be cleaned up and stored in itself.

We have little ones with birthdays and Christmas within a month of each other so we buy most everything at the same time to save time (and "super saver shipping" markup) .. so this doctor kit was just opened this weekend for the birthday - within two literal minutes of opening; the very (very thin) flimsy plastic "case" had just fallen apart at the seams. The "compartment" separators are thin as wax paper and first time removing the tools (which also fell into pieces first time of normal play with adult supervision) they ripped wide open as well. The b/p "cuff" design won't stay closed (not velcro it snaps) and made of felt that stretched out beyond shape first use - the pressure bulb was already torn and unconnected before we even played with it. The box won't stay closed to keep in the now unsecured pieces due to the flimsy construction of the button snap design. So disappointing for our little boy who had been asking for a doctor kit for months! And I just shrugged - another broken piece / poor quality construction merchandise fulfilled by Amazon.com that requires time and more patience from customer - to figure out how to return it and be bounced around for a week until it is resolved by three or four different representatives. I normally do NOT complain about stuff like this. I have been a loyal Amazon.com customer for 10 years. But the last year - almost every shipment has damaged or very poor quality and misrepresented by the merchandise description. Hopefully by being frank and open - another customer won't have to go through the ringer or explain broken "new" toys to their children - so read up on the reviews folks!

I chose this kit because it looked like the one I had as a child. Blood pressure cuff is poor quality. The joints on the tubing are poor fits, and I had to modify them with scotch tape to be able to use it. (Even when held carefully in adult hands, it came apart when pumped.) The blood pressure cuff is also just made of thin felt, and is already stretching out of shape. The stethoscope doesn't actually work, as mine did as a child, and the shot and the tongs come apart very easily. Will probably end up buying a different kit as my son gets older, this one just won't hold up.

This is such a great item and the price is so fair. I would recommend this to anyone. The doctor bag is also set up to where it's easy for them to put things away and the case is sturdy vinyl. Just be ready to be a "patient"!

Granddaughter who like to play doctors on her long suffering parents, great buy.

My two and a half year old loves playing with doctor toys but this set started falling apart during the first play. The bag is flimsy and the pieces seem cheap. Too expensive for the quality.
