T Adapter for Micro Four thirds Cameras to telescope
Finding an appropriate t-ring/mount can be a bit confusing and I had to do a bit of research to find the right product. Unfortunately most of the products I have come across on Amazon or other website have little or no description. So I'll give all the info so that hopefully I can save someone the trouble I went through. This product attaches to the camera body, the other end to an adapter, it will not connect directly to the telescope, or at least not the Celestron I own. The adapter I use is the Meade Camera Adapter, I am sure any similar product will attach and work. The Camera adapter holds the telescope lens. This adapter is longer than the former I had for a 35mm film camera. The reason for this is that m43 cameras have a shorter flange distance, the distance from the front of the camera (without a lens attached) to the camera's sensor. This is important for focusing. It does not really matter for reflector telescopes such as Newtonians or schmidt-cassegrains, but it does matter for refractors. Without the extra length you would not be able to obtain infinite focus so your images will be blurry when using refractors. One important thing to note, you will not be able to use lenses that are really wide, they will not fit inside this or the camera adapter. As for this adapter ring; it is well made, solid metal construction. It attaches smoothly and secularly to the camera. I have not had a chance to use it yet, but I seen absolutely no reason that it will not work well. I definitely recommend it to anyone entering into astrophotography.

Astrophotography
Purchased this model after getting the wrong one from another source. Fits great, no slop like another adapter I have for my EPL-1, and fits my Celestron gear perfectly as well. I do need to figure out how to reduce the magnification of the combination, as I can only fit about 35% of the moon in the frame (old GPC-8 Schmidt-Cassegrain). Should work well for other objects in the night sky.

good adaptor but not quite perfect
I was able to get near infinite focus (using stars at night). So, I had to remove a little length to get proper focus. I basically shortened it beyond the engraved lettering (a mm or so ).

Five Stars
Sturdy construction. Long enough to project correctly onto the sensor.
