I think this is a great idea. I bought the rainbow metal colour. The dial to count rows is easy to use and moves easily while it is at the same time sturdy enough not to fear that it will move by itself randomly with the knitting rhythm leaving you none the wiser on what row you are actually knitting. The biggest drawback is that among the rainbow pattern in the metal, the notch for the “centre” from which the rows are counted is not very clear. Basically, not easy to see. I sorted this out easily by “painting” the centre notch with a permanent CD-writing sharpie, but I think it marks a bit how cool it is. I bought size 12 to use it in my thumb while knitting, and while it is quite big, I am not afraid it would fall off while I’m knitting.I’ve seen the black version in another shop, and the notch indicating the centre of the disk is a lot clearer. It was also about £5 cheaper than in Amazon and I may get that in a smaller size.

Was first shown this by a fellow knitter who raved about it. I was sceptical, especially with the price, but I've finally got one and I'm so glad I did!It's a brilliant bit of kit, sits nice and comfy on my finger or thumb, and doesn't move. I can easily glance and see what row I'm on, can get up make a cuppa etc and it stays put. To me alot less faffy and clinky(noisy) than the traditional ones. Personally I would highly recommend this item. I got the rainbow version and the numbers are very visible.

The numerals don't show up well on the rainbow metal. Hopefully the black version, which I have ordered in place of this one, will be easier to read.

I wear this row counter on my right index finger whilst I’m knitting and I can easily view what row I’m in as I knit.It’s easy to use and comfortable to wear - I find it totally unobtrusive and extremely useful

Love it .. largest size fits perfectly on my thumb. Looks cool and much less cumbersome than the small battery operated counter i was using .. i wont be going back to that one - this is the counter for me now!

I wear this on my thumb and it is comfortable and works really well. What a great idea, I love it and so does everyone who sees it.
