Not as big as I thought it would be. With all the hype I thought it would be bigger
The last big dollar rc I bought was the cross tc6. Flagship version. There was a lot going on with that build. With the xmaxx ..it's just a monster basher . That's why I put 3 on value. It feels like traxxas just wants to nickel and dine you to death after purchase, more like 50 and hundred doller you to death. The blue tooth link should have came with it. Don't get me wrong its a great truck. I just feel like there is stuff I'm going to have to replace before I really run it.. it's like traxxas does this on purpose.

More fun than I expected!
This thing is HUGE and it is more fun at the park than I expected it to be! Very powerful, fast and durable as heck. I have not jumped ramps with it yet or had a major crash yet but I have jumped small hills and inclines and it seems to jump well. It has a self right feature that is supposed to flip the truck back on its wheels when it flips over on its top. I haven't figured out how to make it do that yet. I did however, get a skid plate for the roof to protect the top. Wheelie bar it comes installed with is a plus. Anyone who I let drive it always love it and ask the price which is pretty hefty but I think in the long run the fun you'll have measures up to the sacrifice. If you can afford to get one or get a chance to get one I would say go for it.

Problematic-Repaired by traxxas
At first I had a few frustrating issues, such as failed gearing on first few seconds of use and throttle malfunction. However after finally getting repaired through traxxas it has been perfect. Very durable, A lot of fun. The quality shows, don’t hesitate to spend the extra money.

DANG!!!!!
It is going to HURT financially.... Buying truck, batteries and charger! BUTTT, I played the game with lessor machines. It sucked replacing A-Arms bumpers etc. etc. This thing is insanely durable!!!! You should reinforce the body shell (see YOUTUBE) one of mine had a crack from some BASHING! I bought a second one. Heard there could be problems with the diffs. not being tightened from mfg. properly. My new one was not tightened properly, and Hobby Town fixed it. Other than that, no problems with either of them. Reliable, Durable STUPID FUN!... GET THE WARRANTY!!!

This thing is a BEAST!!!
Been thinking about buying this truck for 2 years. I finally pulled the trigger and by golly I'm glad I did. The XMAXX is huge in size. The torque of this monster truck is insane. It's very well built.I recommend buying the whole body roll cage that mounts over the top of the truck. I'm sure glad I did. I would have torn up the whole body "shell" if I didn't have it installed on my first run.

Great buy on the xmaxx, will be a little pricey to get it running (batteries and charger)
A little pricey but lots of fun, would buy it again. Not to heavy as big as it is, whole car assembly looks like it will take a good amount of accidental beatings as parts look to be good material and strong.
